You're right that's something is changed. In 4.4 we can't read her thoughts, and that the collar used a DDS attack on her antennae to stop her actions and the guy blew his load timing his shot, they argue and calls her out for being superficial so she runs away sad, in 4.5 she did all of the above but swallowed all of it, and can read her thoughts

for it to be different you have to perfectly complete the minigame where you try to understand Mia instead of kissing her, you hug her that way in the new scene as you understand her better you can put ideas in her head making her swallow the mc's sperm, and instead of calling her out for being superficial, you access her head where you find a giant version of her mother that controls her when she starts to think differently, "I don't know why this reminded me of Scott Pilgrim when it enters Ramona's head" you can confront her but you end up devoured by her or you can alter Mia making her have a new tic for the following parts of the story

To unlock the gallery, you just open up Preferences in the menu and under Relive Scenes, click "Fully Unlocked"
Maybe, the artist said that he uses ai assistance on drawing to draw faster (Good thing), with more polished stuff in there and more shinier faces It's kinda valid argument that It's AI, but they still draw their figures by hand.
Idk, Its a coin toss tbh.
