I'm not questioning her popularity, I'm just baffled how some people can prefer her over Anna who is better in almost every way. If I had to choose between a Rebecca scene or Anna scene, I know who I'd pick.

I'm not against Rebecca scenes, I like her. I just can't understand how people would rather have scenes of her over Anna.

Because without Carl she loses most of her relevance. Anything else she's connected to, she is usually the "bonus extra". Like the porn storyline. She doesn't have her own storyline, she's just involved in other plots to get more sex scenes with her.

Hello, dear Patrons!

A quick progress update about the next release.

Sorry for having no news about the development for two weeks, but here Anna takes everything from you :) Here you can see that Anna is going to meet Jeff and this time it's going to be not for work, at least not like previously :)
Still, I'm glad that most of the scenes are already rendered, just that some took a bit longer than I planned again. The beach scene became very long as I wanted to squeeze a nice buildup for it. I'm sure that a lot of you will appreciate it. At least I like it when everything goes closer and closer to a culmination at a slow and growing pace :) To give you some more insight I'll share a little glimpse of what kind of bikini Anna will wear this time. Some might recognize it from somewhere.

I didn't say she was more popular than Anna, I said she was the SECOND most popular character in the game. Obviously, the most popular is Anna, by a very considerable margin. Anna figures in virtually every sex scene in the game, whereas Rebecca has featured in a small fraction of them. As Anna's sister she appears regularly in cut scenes, as you might expect, but Anna is the protagonist, so naturally she's going to appear in vastly more sex scenes, than any other single character.

In the early part of the game, Rebecca actually had a much lower profile, than she probably deserved. When this was pointed out to Deep by patrons, he agreed to increase her role in the game, and that was one of the main reasons for him making her one of Dilan's models.

I disagree, Rebecca's main relevance, is as Anna's sister. And if anything, before the recent development, it was Carl himself who had become largely irrelevant. In the whole game, he's only had three sex scenes with Anna, and two of those were very short. Now maybe that's because he was always intended to be the real villain, and the Devs didn't want players to get too attached to him. But until recently, it seemed like he'd virtually been side-lined as a character, whereas Rebecca by comparison was still getting regular sex scenes.

I downloaded the VN fix, because i didn't want to wait until the sandbox version was available ... thinking that it had actually been fixed, but Dr Schmidt still bloody shows up in the Dr Eihardt route.

anyone have any idea when this will be fixed properly?

I just downloaded it today why it is saying "previously on Anna Exciting Affection"?
Am I missing something
