Why are people asking for so much Rebecca content? Anna is way hotter and more interesting. Rebecca has nothing going for her except being Carl's boyfriend, which indirectly connects her to the plot.

Rebecca is the second most popular character in this game after Anna, amongst patrons. You may not like her, but a lot of other people do.
It's debatable at this point, whether she still is Carl's girlfriend, bearing in mind she now knows he's been conning everybody since the game started, arranged for her to get kidnapped and may be currently planning to kill both her and Anna.
Anna and Rebecca are already slated to make a porn video together, probably later this week
I don't know how you can claim that she's only indirectly connected to the plot, when she's Anna's sister, the person she loves above all others.

My guess would be that the Patrons are hoping for incest scenes between the sisters, that's why Rebecca is more popular than the other women, although most of them are hotter than her IMHO. And Rebecca clearly is horns for Anna. We'll see if wanting Anna with her at the porn shoot is part of a scheme to make it happen or if she just would feel more comfortable with her at her side. Something I'd like to see in the game is older women; not necessarily Alfred-old but significantly older than Anna. Like a wife of one of the guys also wanting some action, a female CEO that has to be convinced to sign a contract with Jercomp, an old/young lesbian porn shoot, a female escort customer...
Unfortunately, I don't think we'll ever get a full-on lesbian scene between Anna and Rebecca, because Patreon would take a very dim view of it. In all probability, they'll get only marginally further than they already have ( I don't envisage any cunnilingus, scissoring or strap-on sex). In the upcoming porn scene, they're both more likely to be having sex with male partners, rather than each other. If this was ever going to happen, it would have done so already.
The Devs have never given any indication, that they intend Anna and Rebecca's grandfather to appear in the main game. Even if he did, there is zero chance, that he would be involved in any sexual content, with either Anna or Rebecca. That would totally cross the line with Patreon, so it will never happen.
Alfred's daughter, when she eventually turns up in the game, is likely to late 30s/early 40s. Deep said recently that another older female character will be introduced into the game soon.

I'm not questioning her popularity, I'm just baffled how some people can prefer her over Anna who is better in almost every way. If I had to choose between a Rebecca scene or Anna scene, I know who I'd pick.
I'm not against Rebecca scenes, I like her. I just can't understand how people would rather have scenes of her over Anna.
Because without Carl she loses most of her relevance. Anything else she's connected to, she is usually the "bonus extra". Like the porn storyline. She doesn't have her own storyline, she's just involved in other plots to get more sex scenes with her.

Sorry for having no news about the development for two weeks, but here Anna takes everything from you
Here you can see that Anna is going to meet Jeff and this time it's going to be not for work, at least not like previously Still, I'm glad that most of the scenes are already rendered, just that some took a bit longer than I planned again. The beach scene became very long as I wanted to squeeze a nice buildup for it. I'm sure that a lot of you will appreciate it. At least I like it when everything goes closer and closer to a culmination at a slow and growing pace
To give you some more insight I'll share a little glimpse of what kind of bikini Anna will wear this time. Some might recognize it from somewhere.
