The might have been a slight change from the upgrade to ver 8/8.1 DAZ base model, but I haven't noticed a darker skin maybe a better skin upgrade that does a better job interacting with the scene environmental lighting, and unless she got a tan at the beach and this is being reflected in this update (haven't played latest update yet).

JK about the second bit Let's see what the dev has in mind for him in the future. IIRC in a previous development post, they were planning a turning point where you can dump him. However, until now, he has been a fetish fulfillment character: the loser boyfriend, without personality who deserve to be cucked by Anna.
