There were two routes to steal the documents. One involved Anna having sex with Jim, to get him to open the safe for her. Although it was never explained, how Jim was going to avoid Patrick working out that he'd betrayed him? Since he was the only other person who knew the combination? The other had Anna persuade Robert to break in to it. And it was on this route, that Patrick finds out about them breaking in to the safe, and threatens Robert's life, unless Anna continues working for him.

Going forward, the game seems to assume that you chose the second route, even if you didn't. Even if you went with getting Jim's help, Anna still gets blackmailed by Patrick threatening Robert's life. Which doesn't make any sense, but it is what it is.

Anna still manages to recover the documents, and a grateful Carl sorts out an apartment for her and Andrew, and pays the first 6 months rent upfront.

ah thanks for the explanation I only did the Robert path on one save and kind of forgot about that route. So it was a bit confusing for me since I was under the assumption he never knew the documents were missing , since it looked like Anna replaced them with a fake or gave a fake to Jim. At least I thought she had a fake, I know there was a mention of using a fake set of documents anyhow not sure if it was actually used.

I totally forgot you can have sex with Jim to have him do it cause he did without sex on 1 of my saves haha. Kind of why I like JIm and think he is a good guy more or less so far. tho I just got to the bar part on Ch 2 so we will see if that changes now he is in charge

even in chapter 1 the story didnt make sense. for example, there was no reason for her to continue going back to the bar. in chapter 2 it gets even worse and just doesnt make sense, man lol. im not going to spoil it for you but let's say she's involved in so much shit she should be drained. and plus does Anna pussy ever get sore? how i have her fucking her pussy should need some ice.

If you want to be pedantic about it. Anna does actually have a sexual addictive condition, similar to nymphomania. So she's not a normal person by any stretch of imagination. She has a super enhanced libido which is quite common for people with those kinds of conditions, and is akin to being high on drugs all the time. She's not thinking about her pussy being sore or lacking energy, because all the time her body is telling her, she needs to have sex. If it was me or you, we'd likely be thinking we're too tired or we're too sore, so we're not in the mood to do it. So we don't. Whereas, Anna's body just tells her to do it, all the time.

yup makes alot of sense and honestly the 1 time I played the Robert path it did feel like it fit the story alot better. But anyhow thanks for your explanation and insight. That really was the only major thing that bugged me about the game the entire time ive been playing. I kind of got rid of Patrick in my main save for Ch 2 need to still play the other path after I finish my first playthrough of Ch 2, so had no idea that Robert was the canon choice. The other day I downloaded the sandbox update 17 from Gofile. When I played it, it worked well until Anna got home from the cosplay party. Then it had annoying error after almost every line of dialogue through the entire scene with John that persisted until Anna and Andrew went to bed. After that it worked fine.

I played further now. After the porn shoot with Michael and Rebecca she returns home to find John and Andrew. John seems to be the problem.
