And I don't need to explain all the fake promises which clearly stated that the update was almost finished in the weekly updates but now out of nowhere the renders aren't even done

You do realize you’re contradicting yourself, right? First, you say you’re not interested in the next update because it doesn’t contain what you want – then you go on complaining about the delay like it personally affects you.

Sure, I get that delays might push back future updates too, but we don’t actually know that yet. That’s just speculation.

Also, you’re not a paying supporter, so it’s not like you’ve lost anything in the process. You’re absolutely entitled to your opinion, but posting the same complaints every week starts to feel less like criticism and more like a personal campaign to damage the dev’s reputation.

At some point, it stops being feedback and starts looking like obsession. Just saying.

The only difference is, I’m not pretending it’s some kind of “constructive criticism” when it’s clearly not. And as for the appreciation – well, nice that it was there… too bad it got buried under all the superiority vibes.

You wouldn't say that, if there was still 20% of them to do, since rendering is the most time consuming part of producing an update, and 20% would represent around 2 weeks of work.

In the last weekly update, Deep said they were working on the final scene ( the one involving Ashley), so clearly at that point the rendering wasn't completed. But that was 3 weeks ago, so it's very likely no longer the case.

The only people hearing you, are the long suffering devotees of this game, who visit this thread on a regular basis. The Devs meanwhile are busy elsewhere, trying to finish the update.

We’ve also been following this for months, and we simply interpret the situation differently — not because we’re ignoring the facts, but because not every delay feels like a betrayal.

Everyone is frustrated by delays whether they're justified or not. That's just human nature, and I'm definitely not immune to it. But complaining about it constantly on this thread, serves no purpose. Because the only people who can do anything about it, are currently not paying any attention to this thread. Whatever is causing the delay, very likely has all their attention, because they more than anyone are feeling the pressure to release this update. And I know this, because they are being asked about it a lot on Discord, which is the only place where you can guarantee that they are going to see any questions about this ( and Patreon of course, though they probably won't see it there immediately).

The difference between this site and Discord, is that the Devs get notifications of all the posts made on Discord directly to their computer screens, whilst they're working. Whereas, they have to deliberately visit this site, in order to see anything. And let's face it, they're just not going to do that at the moment. I'm sure they do it after the update is released, but until then, it's highly likely that they are just too busy to concern themselves, about what their supporters who are not actually patrons, are talking about. When an update is released, that's usually when Devs are more interested what the wider support for their game, are thinking.

Regardless, of whether it can be precisely described as a forum, it often is a forum, with people having discussions just like we do on this thread. Mainly people go there to ask questions of the Devs, but during busy periods you will get several people discussing topics related to this game, or in some cases completely unrelated. Because unlike this thread, there is no such thing as 'off-topic'.
