Could be any number of reasons.

For one, that would require a level of care most developers don't put in their games.

I also only sleep with my wife who gave me the gift of 2 children and for that I respect her and love her over everything. We also talk about everything for example about sex. So if you have such questions and a good relationship with your wife then ask her. You will see such conversations creating trust and respect for each other.
