How to disable 'Animation' because I can't view gallery even when I use
Lain's Walkthrough & Improvements Mod?
I told you before...
They have nothing to do with each other and the mod works perfectly fine.

You probably just didn't install it correctly.

Another project?
An update for Parental Love.
To be more specific, final tweakings for PL. Luxee wanted to finally add some stuff that had been cut and rework littles pieces here and there they weren't satisfied with, before callign the game really done.
The endless curse of creative people : never being satisfied with the state of your work.

So, guessing since there was no mention of Nea's storyline there, we are still stuck with just 2 options ? 1:/ Relationship with Nea, or 2:/ Let her commit suicide
'Subscriber scene' is MC and Nea waking up together (as a continuation of previous event).
I'm not be too closely following what Luxee says, but I'd not expect 'Friendzone route' with her and imo. developing it would be a waste of time and resources. I understand why some people would like to be just friends, but lets not forget it's a porn game. Focus should be on LIs and routes that players are 'romantically' interested in.

Yeah, I just don't really like the MC (player) getting forced in to a relationship they aren't interested in, it's one thing to look out for someone, be their friend etc, and another, wanting a relationship with them.
Yeah I know it's just a game, but I kinda like it when I can get immersed in to the story etc, on one hand you feel like an asshole if you let her commit suicide, or you're in a relationship you don't want to be in, so it's kinda a lose/lose situation.

Who said he isn't ? Just because the start is rocky as fuck doesn't mean it's canon he's trapped by a mad girl, you know. We've had lengthy talks about that particular part of the story, so I'm not gonna repeat it again in too much length (lest a certain someone will come accuse me of forcefully bringing back the topic on "a character nobody cares about" :KEK:), but that scene is immensly based on the abysmally deep insecurities Nea has, cause by her life so far. Doesn't mean the MC doesn't want it.
In fact, if you chose the romance route, he definitely does. So saying the MC is forced in a relationship he doesn't want is a bit fucked.

By the way, the MC and the player aren't the same entity, as the MC has a personality of his own. You're seeing the story from his point of view and steering the ship somewhat, but he's not your avatar like a character in Corruption of Champion would be for instance.
Otherwise, the MC wouldn't ever say anything concrete or make any decision that doesn't have your input on it.

Now, for the player being forced... yeah, that sucks.
Though on that, I've always theorized that this unfortunate extreme choice came from the initial rejection of Nea. Luxee never hid the fact they love trans character, the love and care put into Nea's writting is proof enough. So, with how much players, hiding behind a screen on the internet, can be total dicks to a dev... Despite not agreeing with it, I could definitely inderstand if the agressive rejection and other classic entitled demands for removal led to a "Yeah ? You don't want her ? THER YOU GO FUCKERS, SHE'S DEAD AND IT'S YOUR FAULT ! HAPPY NOW ?" type of reaction.
I'm not saying it's right, I'm not saying it's mature, but devs are humans. Shit enough on their work and them as persons, and they'll eventually lose composure like anyone else.
And I'm not saying it's 100% what happened, but with what little hints we have, I think it's a pretty likely possibility.

So if you meant about the choice being unfair towards the player, then yes, sadly. But the MC as a character is definitely not forced in the romance route.

Yeah it was meant from a players perspective.

The choice the Dev gives (romance or jump) is, as far as I'm concerned, a lose/lose. I don't want the MC to have a romantic relationship with Nea, but I also don't like that the only alternative for her is to jump. In any case, it's what we have, and this is not likely to change.

It's possible that the point of all this is to make the player feel bad for not wanting to go down Nea's romantic route, but it seems unlikely to me: Most of those who have no interest in Nea and feel hostility towards this type of character will have chosen the option where you don't see what happens on her route, and therefore they will have skipped the choice. On the other hand, I'm not sure what the automatic "choice" will be in that route (it would be logical that there would be no romance, but I see the Dev willing to assume that those who don't see what happens follow the romantic route by default)

Apparently I need to point out yet again that developing a "friendzone route" would be much less work than a suicide route. A friendzone route would be exactly the same as a lover route but skipping the sex scenes. The suicide route is going to require every single scene that would have Nea and another girl meeting to have two versions, one with and one without her.
