At no point the patch was outdated, if it wasn't working for you you did something wrong before

If people would stop white knighting developers who don't communicate, we wouldn't have this problem. I have active subscriptions with quite a few developers currently and oodles of cancelled ones usually due to slow update speed or poor communication. I'm genuinely sorry for the solo devs who have a life event that happens where they can't/aren't going to update their game in the foreseeable future. But, say so, then stop/pause your billing.

Regardless if you consider your developing a job or a hobby, you're getting money (sometimes significant amounts) from people to work on that game. If you take 9+ months to release an update that adds all of 15 minutes of game play, you're just taking advantage of your supporters. If you leave a car on the side of the road for 6 months, it's going to be considered abandoned and towed.

I am not white-knighting for anybody, I didn't defend Luxee with one word. Did I say I thought it was great that the update took so long? Did I say the update was super large and there was no reason for criticism?
No, all I did was point out that due to the way of how games get an abandoned tag here on F95zone, many games which aren't abandoned get the tag, this being one of them.

Not that I had much of a problem waiting so long for an update or for Luxee to start working on the game again, it's a nice game, but it's not even in my top ten. There are so many games to play, that as long as I am not personally paying for one, I don't mind waiting.
