Ren'Py - Apocalust [v0.08] [Psychodelusional]

I think it's a solid three stars and sometimes 3.5 stars but the writing really holds it back. The art is really good and sometimes the animation is pretty smooth too. There are some really funky animations though which leave you scratching your head. The shower scene was a good example. It looked like she was having a seizure lol. It's all ok enough in the end but some of the scenes are really silly.

The real problems are the scenarios and accompanying dialogue and narrative. My god it's bad. Mom watching incest porn in church with her tit out while she masturbated was probably the low point. Suspension of disbelief requires that it not be ridiculous. The assfuck scene at mom's job was another great example. Asking the player to believe something a bit out there is different from asking them to suspend their brains entirely.

The action in the game is what really holds it back from being better. The stories are largely bad porn rather than stories with any point. Everything is just an excuse to do some taboo stuff in ridiculous ways. Mom goes from masturbating in church to getting assfucked while selling hotdogs and next she is doing soft porn photos....

Anyway the dev does have talent artwise but a writer would be a good idea because the dev is showing bad porn. Average is fair enough.

Edit-I changed the average rating to poor because this game is just another awful take on the incest trope. I'm sure mom will end up sleeping with all the women the MC knows because "giggles" lesbos. Man I'm sick of wading through beta-male fantasies. The game has great art, so-so animations and god-awful stories. It's poor to awful but the art saves it from being awful.

I loved the dev's other game where the thicc was amazing. In this game, the thicc feels off...

I do have to applaud the animations and the UI. Pretty cool for a Renpy Game. The story however is just meh . ( I played with the iPatch)

I'm mostly going with 4 mostly because of the animations. Some content is there and I home to see more.

wow, I had already played it a year ago but I really like it a lot, it has very good character design and the same with the quality of the animations (even without the mod), I would have liked to change the perspective or something that makes the player more involved in the sex scenes but hey, they are very good scenes, I want to see the next updates.

The best game I've ever played in this genre. Graphics are top notch, it has humor, perfect animations! Congratulations to the developer, great game, waiting for new updates and games similar to this one.

This is a true 5 star game. You can't ask for more without feeling greedy.

That said - The supernatural element does nothing for the story. The scenes are good premises on their own, they don't need it! Other than that I really enjoy how sexual tension is explored in this game. The scenarios are silly and implausible in the way of an absent minded day dream you might have while staring at a particularly plump ass.

The renders and animations are what we imagined porn games would look like, no notes.

If someone is developing a porn-game AI I hope they are training it on this game.

Apocalust is like one of those freeporngames videos that you would watch 8 years ago on PornHub. It has good visuals and consistently has fun scenarios . But the actual plot and writing takes a massive backseat.

This game does really succeed at the porn of a porn game. But it has nothing else to make it interesting. I would just watch and fap to the scenes rather than play the actual game.

Still i have to give it props for really innovating in the tech areas. If all porn games could be this well produced it would be groundbreaking.

Good animations. Hot scenarios. Passable storyline without broken english. Varied character designs that dont resemble base models you buy from the daz3d shop. I dont have any complaints about this game other than it's not done yet!

Well... As a lewd content-pirate (A captain abviously) I feel like nobody deserves this much quality in a game to play for free. Such an amazing job seems to be done with renders and animations. Moreover, I haven't been done playing the game and have no idea why it has got such low rate. So, If there are a lot of cons out there, all I can say is my evaluation is made out of first glance of playthrough.

P.s: Dialogs are badly written and it's the only cons as far as I've noticed. However it's not that big of a deal that holds me back to not give 5-stars to this game.

I see a lot of the reviews are hinting towards bad writing.. But, seriously, the plot is pretty decent!
I LOVE the renders. The lighting is crazy.
I see this as top 5 AVN i have ever played (and i have played a lot heh...)

The animation-driven story and visual polish make this game stand out, but the choppy narrative and reliance on the familiar "friends-and-family incest harem" tropes bring this down just a notch.

The Good ()

• Good diversity of girls with different personalities and overall looks (but most have either the "curvy, busty milf" or "slim, busty teen" aesthetic)
• Really attractive models / renders
• The frequency and number of animations are unparalleled and are executed very well
• A ton of H-scenes with the main and side characters -- hard to go more than ~5 minutes without a scene of some sort
• Interesting initial premise (alien encounter gives the MC mysterious powers)

The Not-So-Good ()

• Some of the models border on cartoonish
• The MC doesn't have much of a personality beyond "young hung stud"
• The story is choppy, weirdly accelerated in certain parts and overall isn't great -- it is a thin pretense for the H-scenes
• This is a kinetic novel -- very linear in story progression with little/no character choice

This is a great-looking game that leans heavily into its animations -- if you're into the preview renders, there won't be much not to like. I'm looking forward to following updates on this one.

it definitely leans towards more stylized characters and the smaller male protag may not be people's thing, but other than that it's essentially good and interesting.

the writing isn't super serious but it gets carried by the overall quality of the game.

Was never really into the hole 'Ren'Py' making everything go into one road type of games, but holy hell this is one hell of a great game.

the story is VERY intriguing, a perfect blend of sex and non-sex fun
the models and looks used in this game are beautiful and sexy. each woman in the game is different from the other, both in looks and personality. no 'copy and paste' going on here, unlike with some other games.

the sex scenes are hot and lots of fun to watch, all the while making some sense and not just jumping right to it.

this is a game that easily earns its 5/5 rating (game version as of this review is v0.07 btw)

I was excited for this after its teaser. But then he released demo after long wait. After that again demo. Dev took long time. I thought this one gonna be nice story game sadly nope. This one high quality renders and animations. Girls got big boobs and ass. But for me it's an average experience

Animations are stellar, bimbo milf is always a good time, and some promising mechanics on the way. Definitely going in my 'check frequently for updates' folder. Two hundred character minimum for reviews is a great way to discourage quick reviews, and skews the star rating to reflect the opinions of those that like typing about porn games over those that don't.

I played with the incest patch and this game have really great dirty talk from the mom.
I like te fact that there is no gring.
The story is pretty bad but good enough for this type of game.
Also it would be great if the mc use is power to remove cloth on girl in public but I guess it is hard to use it at this full potential with the patreon guideline...

Apocalust has the best renders and animations of any game on this site.
The fact that the whole game is animated and there isn’t one single static render is a great accomplishment.
This game is also a must play for enjoyers of MILFs and incest.

The renders, character designs, and sex scenes are hot af.

However, the narrative flow of this game is really weak, jumping scene to scene, there's some scifi mystery thing but it's so half baked and its really just a bunch of woman worshipping the MC's giant dick.

There's game 'mechanics' but they're pretty inconsequential and it feels more like a kinetic novel. Which I believe the dev should stick to that route, because if they try to open different paths down the road the game will never be finished given the current pace of development.

Again, the models and scenes are really well made and does a solid job with sound as well, one criticism to those scenes is the semen looks like someone spilling a bottle of ranch dressing, it's just weird looking.

Overall, if you're looking for a good nut, you're in the right place. If you're looking for an interesting story and character development, move along.

This game was fun to play and enjoy. The creator defintely has a goal in mind and is heading towards it. The animations are amazing and the models are beautiful. Looking forward to what comes next.
