You need car parts not metal. You can get them from the track once you progress that far in the game. Other than that its random events such as finding them in the cave or there's a group that attacks the gate in a car and if you beat them you get the parts. I wouldn't worry about it, when you get far enough into the game to need them there lots available.

ill make you a deal "to sweeten the deal" you create us a good video tutorial, with written text steps along side the video. ill sub to the patreon
. both things help the game in the long run, its nothing but gains. but i also understand that creating that video is still time consuming. so theres the sweetener (i have never offered this. i do so, as i am really enjoying this game, and would love to fill in some of the gaps for the other players, once i know how)Some events take time (up to two weeks) to trigger or need other things to happen to trigger them. General advice just keep pushing ahead and things will automatically trigger.

Throw a party, then invite a guest to your bedroom during the party
Take 4 slaves (80+ beauty and blonde), from the basement, add them as Companions, then see Negan

Are you clicking the right option with Negan? There are two concurrent tasks with Negan one requiring 2 girls and one with 4 girls. Do a save before you click so you can go back and try the other option if he only takes two? Negan is very selective and won't choose every girl you offer. Carefully check they are all slaves, 80+ beauty and blonde, from the basement and you added them as companions. I always take 6 and let him choose the 4 he wants. Its easier. And remember you can get hair dye from the underground shop and change girls hair colour to blonde to save time in each girls options.

ive brought him over four, atleast eight altogether by now. still the quest has not moved on
Negan's quest? I think that's it with him for while. You have to do other things.

Its not obvious and if you see on many previous pages, lots others have done the same. Do a search on here for Negan and many curse his name.

I can't do a video walkthrough right now since I don't even have the game installed at the moment, let alone any packs. I'm just going by the standard usage of node.js
There's no need to type cmd while at the console. That's just something you type in a folder's search bar to open the console at that location and save you the hassle of navigating from within the console.
Is your searchArctionsPack.js file located at D:\Downloads\Apocalyptic_World...?
If so, all you need to do while the console is loaded on that directory is to type
node searchArctionsPack.js just like you were doing on the other picture - it failed on that attempt because you were doing it while on a directory that doesn't contain that file; MODULE_NOT_FOUND is basically telling you "the file you want me to run isn't here".

ive got node in the root folder. but no matter what i do, i cannot replicate my previous image. despite ensuring the correct folder is selected, and typing the correct command. im having zero luck with this lmao

i have now completed the build thus far i believe. therefor i shall likely not be playing until a decent chunk of content has been released *rather than drip fed to drip fed waiting*.
next time ill jump on is either, if i learn how tf to do packs, and if im able to wrap my head around it.
or when a significant update releases.
ive had a blast playing this. i can imagine adding packs isnt complicated, once you know how. but atm, i for the life of me cannot seem to get it to work. so if by some miracle theres a step by step, *tutorial for dummies*, i guess i shall see this game when the next update releases.
if i actually learn, ill dedicate some time to making content for the game. but rn, i cant fathom how tf this shit works lmao. im unfamiliar with this style of modding, and how this "engine" works. so its completely new territory for me
