try to edit file packs/packs.js by adding this:

    "NAME": {
        name: 'NAME',
        description: 'YOUR_COMMENT',
        download: ''
    },

replace NAME with pack's folder name and comment if needed. should work (i have no packs to check). just remember to keep all quotes and apostrophes as here

What I more so was commenting on is the code with in the actual html where it says to change in notepad or other text editing programs in particular the line items for asain: {black: setup.range (1, 5)}, (etc)

Cause in the code it now separates the lines base on female, male and trans. so not sure if the line changes would still be the same or if I need to change each one to match. Cause every time I start the game with the mod packs that I have it keeps telling me its missing line items and things won't work correctly but the instructions aren't updated for install.

I think more or less the same effect, maybe crosssbow a little less powerful.
It is possible to arm all npc at your settlement, but if you set AUTO option ON, all npc who was armed will unequip weapons and armor(or any equipment) if they do not need it for their assigned work. for guards it is good crossbow and armor i think.

Yes, you get the bolts at the end combat.

Did you check the Settlement Management menu from your bedroom?

1. Maybe you played in another browser(or some other sowftware).
2. Maybe you cleared cache from browser.
3. When Dev think that new version can not support that old version saves, you will not see them is save list.
4. When you clear all current game content or played enough, save your game AS FILE, and save it in game folder. this way you will not lose save.
