You missed the point, let me explain:"One dollar isn't theft but five dollars is!!!" You do realize that 5$ a month is still practically nothing right? It's not like some who charge 15$ for their early access. The price of upkeep nowadays is pretty fucking expensive. I could shit on other devs for 1500$ a month but still. A comfortable safety net is just that. A net. I'm not defending the lack of update material since there's little to show for it some months except bug fixes, but maybe actually dig into this a lil bit with some scrutiny before putting every dev on the chopping block. I'm sure that they're probably working a day job too as most tend to do.
Edit: Again I'm not defending the lack of updates. It is kinda atrocious. To be a 'little' fairer, an additional 1500 $ a month would barely cover rent, car insurance and maybe food for a house. That's pretty major but forget getting or having health insurance. Lmao.
1. it's not about updates
2. it's not about whether it's much or not
3. I can afford $5, don't you worry
... and finally:
4. It's about rewards and how they're described when you're considering buying membership option. For $1 you're supposed to have access to early builds.
When you try to buy newest build, however, it prompts you to unlock it with $5 membership. This is dishonest. And this is my problem.
