Just so it's known, not sure if it's on my end or if it's a bug, but I am getting an error when I click YES during chapter 2, after piloting the scout ship. I think the dialogue before the choice was Do you want to tell Taya that you can't remember anything about your past? I am hiding the dialogue just in case it's a spoiler.

Huh, that's strange, I don't seem to encounter any issues on my end, its probably something relating to the set of choices made prior to clicking Yes. It might also be because I did all the bug testing through the Ren'Py Launcher and not the compiled code. I'll see if I can find anything and push an update when I find the issue.

Edit: Just did a quick play-through of the compiled build and can't seem to find anything no matter which choices I pick, so it's kind of a mystery to me. If you happen to have a screenshot of the error or the error code itself, or if you ever encounter it in the future, sending it would help in narrowing down the cause greatly.

Not really, at least not in the sense you're thinking of ("Sort of, kind of"). Artemis was the goddess of the hunt and maidenhood. Later, in the Classical Period, she became identified with/replaced Selene, which was the Goddess of the Moon (thus, "Artemis Selene" or Cynthia). She was one of several virgin goddesses (another was Athena) and the several aspects were eventually conflated. (A similar thing happened with Apollo being combined with Helios as "Apollo Phoebus".) There are several stories about Artemis or other maidens having their virginities threatened and the consequences for the guys (always BAD for the guys and often for the girls, too). On the other hand, the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus was dedicated to her as a mother goddess with a multi-breasted, lactating statue.

But Virginity as something "erotic"? That was Aphrodite's job- she would even bathe in the sea every night to renew her virginity (even though most authors have that she had several children- including Eros/Cupid, Phobos, Deimos, Hermaphroditus and others by various lovers).

I've just dl'd the v 0.11 update and just about every decision after meeting (?)Lyrs ends in "An Exception Has Occurred" error message. Some occurred immediately, others waited for some time, but by the time I talked to (?)Tyra about a piracy alternative ALL my choices had ended with the error.

Thanks for pointing that out, I'm not sure what the difference could be between when I and others run Artemis. I've searched for quite a bit and cant seem to encounter the error on my end at all which is kinda making me go a little mental.

Do you happen to have a screenshot of the error code in question? Also, if you don't mind me asking, what OS are you playing the game on?

I use a HP laptop with Windows 10 (preinstalled). I'll try to get a screenshot next time that I play- probably sometime tomorrow.

Sorry for any confusion or lack of communication. Unfortunately I have had to temporarily put the development of Artemis on hold while I focus on supporting myself and family through the current situation plaguing the world at the moment. I cannot provide a definitive date when I will be able to once again focus on this project, however, I hope to work on the development of Artemis as soon as I am able to.

The Patreon page has also been unpublished so as to prevent any current or future support during this time when I am unable to continue development in full. It will be republished as soon as development commences once again at a later date, and as an apology for the lack of content, the next update will be public from the date of its release rather than being patron only.
