Hey everyone!

Posting this a bit early as I plan on making a midnight food run while I burn the midnight oil this fine Sunday night.

Beta testing is going mostly well. Team finds something, gets reported, I correct it. Rinse repeat. Tomorrow (Monday), I'll be reviewing the reports and pushing the next patch. Hopefully all is well and then I can have the team begin testing the freeroam segment. There's only one major issue, though do not worry. It won't cause any delay. The issue is when issuing the patch, it breaks something else. After the third report of this happening, I noticed that I had for sure addressed the bug being reported. I asked the team to try the full version from which I pulled the patch from and that bug was not reported. I'm sure once I spend a good hour or so on it, I can figure it out. Worst case scenario though is that instead of an update patch, you will have to download the full version which is estimated to be about 13-14 gigabytes. CH4 update itself is about 4ish-GB. I don't have the final size as I'm still working on the last bit of animations and I still need to curate the soundtrack for this chapter.

Additionally, on top of the animations I'm working on. I did a playthrough myself and took note of some extra renders I need to create and insert. These renders are mostly for shots I need to make for some scenes play out better. I have 35 of those shots to render. Since they take place in scenes that have already been created, just a matter of bringing up the scene file, posing and throwing in the render queue.

My favourite game in this forum have 3 years of development, 10 months for every update and 0 sex scenes. If the game is good I don't care about sex scenes, and Artemis is a good game with an intriguing story, I don't want a rushed game with porn scenes because potato. If digi.B believes that the game needs more character development before sex scenes I'm with him. No hurries.

That is all YOU need to know but clearly not everyone else is YOU which then makes your statement is not relevant to most other people. So, I would suggest that you keep your need to know just to yourself.

They are exceptions though, namely proper feedbacks, suggestions, criticisms and reviews that are provided in good faith which are relevant to and will benefit others, also possibly help the game developer to improve the game in later releases.

I hope that is good enough to be added to the all YOU need to know before posting your opinions. Cheers.

I totally get that point. but a good example of finding a healthy balance in a lewd game is Being a dik. Lot's of sex if the player chooses to go that route, and it doesn't compromise the story. Which IMO is one of the most well written stories out there. Best of both worlds. Updates take a long time but the episodes are always really long. I understand artemis is fairly new all things considered.

Well first off. Artemis is Digi's first game. BaDIK Is Pinkcakes second game already.

And i have to say artemis has a better quality already then Acting Lessons (Pinkcakes first game)

It is not fair compairing drpinkcake with digi. cause pinkcake has the exp of developing one game beforehand.

People on here want things rushed but then will bitch about the quality of the game, a clown show.

Per Digi, the beta testing started on the 19th with a 2 week beta test instead of a single week of testing:

Going by the dates, the release is expected to be on 10/3; 4 days away
