You don't need to download a different game - check the renpy version used and download the sdk for that version from:A simple workaround that works for "all" RenPy-releases that are Windows only is to do the following:
1. Figure out which Python version is needed (in this case_ARTEMIS-0.4.1-win/lib
shows a folder calledpy3-windows
andpython3.9
). Find a multi-platform release that has the same Python version (I used Leap of Faith 1.0) and copy thepy3-linux-x86_64
folder into the_ARTEMIS-0.4.1-win/lib
folder.
2. Rename_ARTEMIS-0.4.1-win/lib/py3-linux-x86_64/LeapOfFaith
to_ARTEMIS-0.4.1-win/lib/py3-linux-x86_64/_ARTEMIS
3. Copy shell-script from Leap Of Faith to_ARTEMIS-0.4.1-win/_ARTEMIS.sh
4. Victory!
You must be registered to see the links
.copy from renpy-version/lib/* to the game's lib/ and rename 'renpy' to the game's name
copy renpy-version/renpy.sh to gamename.sh
For this one, renpy 8.0.3 works:
Code:
[Artemis-0.4.1]$ python
Python 3.10.7 (main, Sep 6 2022, 21:22:27) [GCC 12.2.0] on linux
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> import renpy
>>> print(renpy.version)
Ren'Py 8.0.3.22090809u
>>> quit()
[Artemis-0.4.1]$ tar jxf ~/Downloads/renpy-8.0.3-sdk.tar.bz2
[Artemis-0.4.1]$ cp -a renpy-8.0.3-sdk/lib/py3-linux-x86_64 lib/
[Artemis-0.4.1]$ cp renpy-8.0.3-sdk/renpy.sh _ARTEMIS.sh
[Artemis-0.4.1]$ mv lib/py3-linux-x86_64/renpy lib/py3-linux-x86_64/_ARTEMIS
