Steph walked away from the MC to protect him. She loved him, still loves him. She didn't cheat on him and the MC was her only partner.
And Cassie, even though she is not with MC, makes his life difficult, hurts him. On top of that, I think Cassie was cheating on the MC when she was in a relationship with him. Then she went to another guy (I forgot his name, Nicolas maybe?) Additionally, ruining his career.
I don't know what Dev is planning for Cassie, but for me she doesn't exist anymore. I forgave Steph because the situation wasn't quite like here. But Cassie, I won't forgive her. She is a bitc..
The only thing I can do for her is to blow up her career and buy a ticket so that she travels far from MC and doesn't hurt him anymore.

Exactly.

Steph did what she did FOR the MC because she fell in love with him when she wasn't supposed to.

Cass did what she did TO the MC because she's a sociopath incapable of love (though she sure can fake it as needed).

Totally different characters and motivations.

So if the Dev created some sort of angle where it was Cassandra who was forced or blackmailed to deceive mc and she had no choice would you forgive her then? The Dev could make Cassandra a salvageable character for some also.

Not who you asked, but no...I wouldn't because it doesn't fit anything we've seen from Cass so far.

Any excuse we see now is going to have to explain her glee at tricking MC, and her unrepentant attitude, and I don't think that's possible.

Steph was sorry for what she had to do. Everyone could see it immediately. But Cass isn't sorry she did it, she's only sorry it didn't work out.

That might explain it...don't think I gave her the chance...will have to do it again. As for Naomi...I completely agree...she had me as soon as she spoke Hebrew, the fighting was just a bonus :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, both might be too much. Agreed! also agreed Reina was just played like a pawn there. Error in my statement aside, hopefully there's at least an apology, if not another offer (even if MC tells her to stick it)

This is so fun to read lol. I really love Kindra. And I want to ruin Cassie's life. I really like this game, so I hope that the player will get to make choices when it comes to who they're romancing/fucking because forced interactions tend to ruin games for me. And the fact that MC's mom is(was?) just his mom (no incest) REALLY makes me happy

The thing is, we don't know what Cuntsandra, a long-time client, said to get Reina to change her mind about hiring MC. If it was just Reina bending to Cass' influence I could see us thinking less of Reina. But let's face it: Cuntsandra did what Cuntsandra has done all chapter - she made up an egregious lie that made MC unemployable.

Reina didn't know MC. She didn't know Cass and MC had a history. She knew Cass. It's a very simple decision, and if it weren't MC being hurt by it, we'd all understand and sympathise. But because it's "us", some people are just writing her off and I think that's a shame.

Reina did not know the MC, but the interview was arranged by June, which should say something about him.
June then arranging the MC to be involved in the contest and Reina turning up was not good, but Reina's decision shows how little trust she has in one of the girls.
In my opinion, June actually has more reason to be angry than the MC does.

I kind of just rolled my eyes at the Reina thing. To me, it's just like "Okay, so she's bad at her job." She clearly didn't even look into whatever Cass told her since - if I'm understanding the timing right - she called the same day and said he didn't get the job, which basically means Cass said whatever and Reina didn't even make an attempt to confirm what was said. Considering the fact that whatever Cass said was "disqualifying," Reina should've done her due diligence before making such a big decision.

If it's up to me (and I hope it is), Reina won't be a LI or whatever for my MC, not necessarily because of what she did, but more because of how utterly incompetent she seems for doing it lol. I'll stick with the funny and smart old friend from HS, thank you very muchhhhh.
