Hmm. I'm gonna be boring and say its graphics. No matter how good the story is if none of the characters looks attractive to me it's a deal breaker. Its a porn VN after all. And so far none of the characters in the screenshots at #1 looks interesting to me. The robot girl with cybernetic jaw above does looks cute though. So I guess the big question will be. Is she a LI?

That's Artemis; she's an AI humanoid created by one of the LI's with help from the MC. [That's not quite right, but close enough for this response.] She is not an LI as of the latest release, but I'm sure she will be. She just became activated during the cliffhanger at the end of the latest release.

Happy Monday!
Last week I spent about a day reviewing the music from Artlist and finally getting them removed. Testing things out, I noticed there's a bug when accessing the DataLeaks from the cellphone during CH1. Basically when dismissing the phone, you lose right-click ability to access the games menu. You can still access the menu via the quick links (clicking Save or Config will bring up the menu.). The fix was easy to implement and I'll be pushing a hotfix very soon. I just wanted you guys to know this is on my radar. On top of the fix, I'll be adding the adjustment to make the font a little bigger. I still plan on creating a setting for you to adjust accordingly. But since I've got so much on my plate right now, it seems more logical increase the font size now and worry about the feature later.
Also, I had some messages/discussions regarding the recent 4.2 patch. I just wanted to reiterate that there wasn't any new content in 4.2. The only things added that one would consider new content was the remastered dream with MC's mom back in CH1. Hardly enough to warrant a new playthrough. Additionally some tweaks to scenes at the Halloween party, specifically the interaction with June and MC and Zelda's reaction. The purpose of the patch was to implement QoL (Quality of Life) features, adjust the UI some, refresh my intro logo, apply various bug fixes. It's not something that will require to replay Artemis from the beginning. I certainly would have emphasized that as I know that's pretty common with some patches and can understandingly be frustrating to do. But I did my best to implement things without breaking saves. I hope that clears up any confusion.
Ch5 development is going real steady (knocks wood). There's been a lot of Steam talk and I don't want anyone to think that Ch5 development has been put on the sideline to get things up to speed with Steam. CH5 development is certainly the priority when it comes to managing my time during this dev cycle. There are a few environments to convert over to DAZ and optimize. A lot of them are high-poly and taking what I learned from the Halloween party, learning to better optimize these high-poly assets in scenes. This includes filling in the background to help Artemis feel more "alive". Especially now that we'll be exploring more of Central Point City's environment. I procured some assets that lets me throw people in the background. This mostly works for people in the background, but still saves me from just building random Gen3 models to sprinkle in the background. It was a lot of work to build and get it to work, but really love how I can just grab groups of people to fill in voids now.
This will help make the McCreed Expo feel "grand" as I really want to fill it with as many people as possible so it lives up to this massive event I'm shaping it out to be.

Just like Walter Victor said, the android girl is Artemis, the titular character of this game. I don't know for certain that she will be a LI or not, but there are a lot of players that will love that. One thing for sure is that Artemis has the required anatomy to perform sexual activities
. Will she be able to love, have emotions? Only digi.B knows.She will have more screen time in Book 2 ( Chapter 5 to 8 ) and had very limited appearance in Book 1 ( Chapter 1 to 4 ). Book 1 is basically an extended prologue introducing all the main characters. The game will have 4 books ( 16 chapters ) in total.
As for the graphics, the promo pictures are from much older, earlier version of the game. The renders on earlier chapter are not bad but they aren't best either. However, they do get better, especially the preview pictures for Chapter 5 are really amazing. The developer is also progressively remastering the earlier scenes. You can check out the LIs in this post here. There are plenty of LIs images posted on this thread if you need more convincing but much easier to play the game and find out the LIs on your own.
Attractiveness is subjective so you have to decide for yourself. Personally, I like all the girls except one, Vulvamort, not because she is ugly but because she is the antagonist.
Like I said earlier, the screenshots in OP is not representative of the current graphics quality.

No, he did not; it's a personal conjecture. Since Artemis is an AI humanoid, perhaps not an LI as such, but if the MC doesn't get to at least have sex with her, there will be an uprising among the villagers, complete with torches and pitchforks.
This is not a Harem game, like Eternum or even Desert Stalker, and certain choices make the player choose between two girls at various times. We don't know how the developer plans on winding up the game, whether he will force you to choose only one or not.
The current favorites on F95 appear to be Kindra (the tech genius and old friend of the MC) and June (the one who consoles the MC when he is down). But there are other favorites too, and no one has yet seen Artemis in action.
Oh yeah, tattoos: just about every girl in the game has lots of them. Most of the girls belong to the Iota Nu Kappa sorority (INK). Whether that's a turn-on or a turn-off... you get to decide.
