Might still be Sunday for some of you (it is for me

), I'm pushing this status update a little early so I can head over to In-n-Out and grab a quick bite to eat before they close, haha.
I wanted to clarify two things from last week's update. I had mentioned a compressed version. I wanted to clarify that this version would be an alternate version for those who would need it. And that this version may see a reduction in quality. An uncompressed version will always be available and the main release. And the compressed is just an alternate version if the giggybitties are too big for some. I'll have to also look into making it as well, so I can't say for sure if a compressed version will be available, but I will be looking into it when the update enters Beta.
On the subject of gigabytes. I had mentioned the update alone is nearing close to 3-4GB and will bring Artemis as a whole to about 7-8GB. Just like I did with Chapter 2, there will just be the update to download. As well as the full game as a whole to download. As I understand some need to delete games to free up storage space. Any will need the full copy.
I apologize if sometimes my posts need clarification. I don't prewrite these updates. On weekends, I generally roll out of bed and to my desk where I'll work all the way up to usually around this time. Where I'll stop to write the status update for the week. Haha, so I'm a little weary on some posts. But I'm always willing to clarify, just let me know if something needs clarification.
I spent this week continuing work on posing/rendering. This week I completed about 493 renders, putting story renders at 3012. I'm in the middle of a scene right now and will be my last one before calling it a night. After this scene, only two more remain until I'm done with scenes. I have a few re-renders I need to do, nothing big. Just some mistakes I caught while inserting them into the code. The bulk of the work is posing and renders, so with two more scenes that remain. I'll have a much easier time focusing on the remaining code and other parts of this update, before handing off to the Beta team. In Chapter 2, I forgot how many scenes I ended up cutting. But with Chapter 3, the only thing that was cut is the exploration I planned for. The code is taking longer than I'd like to work out and since exploring is more of extra stuff and nothing to do with story, other than some backstory. I'm not going to include it. It will return in Chapter 4 though as I need its function for an event taking place then. Other than that, nothing else has been cut.
As I wrap up another scene tonight. Only two more remain. This week, I'll continue working on the remaining scenes as well as queue up animations. No code work this week. All posing/renders/animations.
