Back from hiatus and into the cauldron again - your "condom control" module has issues. It works for the first one or two times, but then it just forces condom off for everyone and stays that way.

Had a bit of trouble getting this bad boy to work, but IT'S ALIVE (follow the guide, folks)! Interestingly, found out the hard way that my download folder made the launcher not show up because of the no funny characters in the file path thingy, since the download is actually inside the user folder, which uses my name, which has a good ol' ~ on it.

Well... sortes is a dude from the aa2 taco discord so... if you have some problems with that repack go to him... why? cuz literally some mods including the harderlinker got updated last week

Most of the other external links seem to be dead, and I mostly care about modules/personalities (I remember one author in particular still posts them on Patreon for free but I can't find his name) and maybe outfits

Ah.... those are raw files someone asked me to upload... if you wanna port that shit you need to do a lot of things.... like t pose it, then merge with the aa2 armature bla bla bla and then make a cloth override

latest news? 8chong or both the discords, personalities are slow work and in the end everything go to the UUP, for modules most of the dudes than make some post them on discord rarely in the thread

Yeah, I have to say, the guides are pretty poorly written. They often refer to things that haven't been explained, give instructions that are unclear, and generally are near totally useless to anyone who isn't already familiar with AA2 and modding AA2. Which, y'know, kinda defeats the entire point of a guide.

It shouldn't be hard to fix, honestly. You just have to go back through and make sure things are properly explained, and that things you're talking about are clear and easily understood by someone who's unfamiliar with AA2. Though what surprises me the most is that this isn't a new problem with the guides.

I've seen people pointing out the same problems with the guides every now and then, and yet nothings really been done about it, so why some people feel the need to act all high-and-mighty over new people getting very rightly confused over a poorly written guide is beyond me. It only really serves to push people away from the game if they're confronted by an elitist community mocking others for being confused at bad guides.

do you mind explaining which parts of the installation guide are confusing? from my perspective the installation guide is an explanation of what the mod is, the download link, then where to drop it (aka the data folder). At the very least, i do not understand which part is the confusing part. It's a drag and drop system. The only part I can see being confusing is the modding/porting guide but as it says in most of those guides, it is expected for you to be at least a little familiar with aa2 and how it runs before you look into modding custom assets.

In any case, if you can explain which parts are confusing and how things could be better, I can bring this to the attention of some people that can edit the guide

anyone else find F12 poser inconvenient? i wish there was pose presetter for hands, arms, legs, etc., not just full-body

simple scene takes hours, poses from scratch, luckily i was waiting for a flight...
if not so hard to set up, i could use it to make comic layouts
is there "proper" way to use it?

trial and error, experience(? and ofc use the pose of other anons as base, theres some ppl that are very godlike with the poser but that comes with experience, as for meI usually just use other anons poses or scenes and from that i make mine

I haven't been in the aa2 discord for a very long time but from what i can see and also from my own experience trying to help people in the tech support channel, about 80-90% of the problems come from either people skipped over some stuff in the guide, didn't read properly, or windows 11 did fucky shit with it's new update. Also, I haven't not seen people belittle others in the server that i am in although we may have different tolerance levels/views of what being belittled is.

I don't mean to sound rude, but I don't understand this line of reasoning.
If someone cares enough about a topic to take the time to complain then why wouldn't the same person raise their constructive criticism for the sake of others? Especially given how one of the previous repliers claimed that they have connections to aid the change of the guide, which if true seems like a perfect opportunity to voice a concern.

I never could find a fault in the linked guide, but that may be because I've been on the internet for multiple decades and I assume it was written in a "language" similar to my own digital experiences, but I completely understand if this is harder to understand for anyone.
What I don't understand is why there is such a seemingly high vitriol and aversion to assist others.
If there is a good suggestion to make the guide better for the next person, then I personally fail to see why it shouldn't be shared for the good of the community.

I shan't speak for others and perhaps I'm too idealistic or old-fashioned but I'm here helping people where and when I can for absolutely free, of my own volition because I really enjoy (not just) this game and if I can impart even the slightest aid for others to enjoy the game as well then I will do my absolute best even if it gives me no tangible benefit.
My point with all this was to say that you can be the change you want to see in the world even if it seems ultimately insignificant. If you have found a lot of niche problems and solutions, why not write a supplementary guide with your experiences? If it's accurate information, people will want to know about it and more people will be able to enjoy the game.

Hey guys having a hard time finding this shadowset "02_uncensor_CIVX beta" made by Egarim? its suppose to be a more advanced form of the current futa mod anyone heard of it and know where to find it, I tried googling it and check the guide but no luck.
