Overview:
The game has a few interesting mechanics. Throughout the story you get to upgrade Edgar's roguish skills as well as sexual abilities. You then get to use these to handle challenges before you and progress throughout the story. Furthermore, later in the game you get to establish multiple business of the.. let us say, catering to lecherous citizens of Tego, the main city. You must maintain, grow and upgrade these businesses with eye on your income and expenses as well as your business' reputation. Lastly you must hire and find girls to work your fine establishments.
Finally if you play your cards right, you'll get to pursue your ultimate goal the throne and Lady Isabelle. But beware, there are several endings depending on the choices you made throughout the game.​

Anyone else has trouble turning a profit on the brothel management chapter? I seem to be losing money no matter what.

Also the hunting lodge doesn't seem to do anything, no girls can be brought.

Rose has 2 endings, the more common one where you pass every dice roll then save and hire her, or the uncommon one where you fail every roll yet still save her, resulting in her fleeing Tego. This achievement is for the latter ending. Best way is to run a Chapter 2 save with low skill levels, keep Athletics, Oratory and Cunning low, fail the investigation while finding the culprit, max up those skills at your apartment then win the duel against the culprit. I personally cannot see the distinction of not unlocking the achievement for both endings, so as to preserve my sanity went on to mod the game file and saved several hours of my time.

There are 4 options in the budget section for each building, the last option might not be visible if you are playing at the initial windowed setting. Max out advertisement costs and price per customer. The multipliers are more than enough enough to offset the negative impact of reputation. You can readjust this later when better revenue buildings are acquired.

Editing the save would require knowledge about localstorage, LevelDB and some programming knowhows to parse data. A bit too much for a game of this quality if I must say. Narrat only has 1 global autosave slot that is frequently overwritten so manual save is the more reliable saving method. As to when to be able to manual save, it is decided by the developer, so the only way to increase this frequency is to modify the game files. It probably would be much faster to then just directly modify conditions than save frequency in this regard.
