Anyone else has trouble turning a profit on the brothel management chapter? I seem to be losing money no matter what.

Also the hunting lodge doesn't seem to do anything, no girls can be brought.

Tip, the code includes ( and ) so it is exactly as it says above!

Oh yeah, anyone figured out how to edit the save games? This narrat is something else.
I really like the game and the AI art but the game does have some weaknesses.
One of them is that you don't get any info on what the variables for the buildings, you can manipulate, do exactly - you can only just assume. You can't see the status of your building. So is it in a desolate state or does it sparkle? Would be valuable info if you want to change it. Or does it just influence a specific value in the calculation (probably customer satisfaction?). What is influenced by the girl's wages?...
If anyone knows how the variables are connected ( e. g. increasing wages increases the chance for customer satisfaction (?)) please let me know.

For making a profit:
I left Salaries and Maintenance as it is.
Make sure advertisement brings in as many clients as your girls can serve (5 per working girl) and ask for the maximum price. Your reputation will stay abyssmal and you won't get any secrets until you upgraded your building and your girls got better and actually sastisfy customers but you will make money. In addition, get the second upgrade, Disguise Service, asap as it doubles the amount of money you can request from rendered services.

I'd be interested in getting my hands on these savefiles as well.

>Thanks guys!
This is actually a pretty good game,it's completed, has practically no bugs except for Anna showing up in your bathtub while she is also kidnapped and residing in a dungeon - but art is AI, and the engine needs some work on font sizes and load/save functions. The font size mess can hide some text and functions, but usually it can be scrolled to the side or down to see the missing text.

Ok, here's a quick wall of text walkthrough:

Anyone found out if the noble/rogue skill actually does anything? Is it just flavour, and maybe it changes the ending?

Tried running it on Linux via Wine and had at least two errors preventing it from playing. I fixed one with a software update, but still running into a lot of stubs in the terminal.

Do you need to do something specific for the 'Silk and SUbmission' achievement? I assue that is for finishing the content with Era in the hunting lodge, but she's not available to me in this sepcific menu (although I have her as an active girl hired).

1.0.2 is up so somebody will have to update the official version. The bigger fix for this update should be the "Ship Full of Women!" achievement not unlocking despite completing every other Chapter 2 related achievements and optional quests there were. Not sure how the developer fixed it; I merely set it up to unlock after completing the 50 crew quest.

It does more than those. For Ascension I the personality of MC is a rogue by default, so your character being noble influenced or rogue influenced will affect story progression. Edgar will be building different stuff depending on his morality during the endings so its just flavour in that regard (rogue choices also affect which good ending you will end up with), but the bigger result I can think of immediately is the default condition for Blue Nymph purchase whereby you get to do 500k as a noble, 450k plus a quick one with Marianne as a rogue. Rogue choices will also unlock more side CGs than noble ones in general in most random events and hunting lodge, with a few characters being exceptions. The tradeoff usually is between affection progress and CG.

This is to correct parts of your walkthrough:

Silk and Submission is Kendra specific. She won't be available if you have Sultry Nights as your 4th building.

My first impression was one of a nice little adventure + management sim forever stuck on easy mode:
  • On the adventure side, failed skill checks don't have that much of an impact; most of the time you can either ignore the outcome, or try again another day. And the progress-driven Save dialog very much telegraphs when to savescum.
  • On the sim side, there's no way to sort/filter the roster, no girl-by-girl daily report, and moving girls between places is clumsier than it needs to be. But none of that matters, because there's no real reason to move the girls around -- no stamina/health mechanics, and while the girls do rank up their skills by working, it's not an obvious thing -- ranking up by yeeting silver is sooo much more convenient.
All of this gets you the bitter-sweet ending.

Now, if you want the best ending, this game becomes a puzzle game -- and not a very good one at that.

As Orcmaster reports above (#28), acing the final fight isn't enough for the best ending; and the game doesn't give you any clue whatsoever about what you did wrong -- instead, you're winning the fight hands-down, and then you're dead and all your love interests are very sad. It's possible that the pirate fight at the end of the 2nd chapter is similar (even if you ace it, you get one week in sickbay).

Now, for the best ending, I can think of two possibilities: Either you need to play the whole game up to that point perfectly; or there is a specific encounter somewhere that you're supposed to fail (similar to the uncommon Rose achievement (#21)). And I don't find the game interesting enough for the many playthroughs needed to figure that out.

I've not yet arrive at the final stages of the game and the compiled list of issues continued to increase. Once I am done with whatever tests I feel like making I'll pass the list to the developer and see if those gets fixed and we get a 1.0.4. But at that point I'll probably move on to something else.

I've contemplated writing a walkthrough given the time invested reading the story while test-fixing bugs (maybe I should get the developer to pay me a stipend for this heh) but given the attention the game has garnered I am not so sure at the moment. If there is a demand for it I'll get one out then with a custom mod maybe. It will come in a document format if one was ever written. If the saves are also part of it then someone will have to host them due to file size restrictions.

Now regarding the ending. Since I've not yet arrived at the final stages take this with a grain of salt.

I got to the last fight but even tho i passed every check i still get the death ending idk why

There is potentially a rather significant logic flaw during the final assault that changes the length of the story. I will have to evaluate if my theory is correct before pointing it out here though, and the flaw isn't exactly gamebreaking in the sense you won't be able to complete it without a fix.
