Overview:
My girlfriend is still the leader of of a rival organization, so we can't be seen together. I'm trying to visit her, but I've been caught by one of her scientists!
We've decided to work together towards a common goal: A threesome!
Liquid Fullmoon needs to sneak through her girlfriend's compound so they can meet up for a fun night together! She's teamed up with Gun Cat, a scientist who can bypass security. I get that it's supposed to be 1handed controls but I don't have enough hands to solo this :c But my lust for unhinged experimental games compels me to try.
idk why I'm a moth that's drawn to dumb games where it feels like dev themselves is the only target audience

coop, puzzle and porn are genres that feel in constant conflict with each of the other ones and don't tend to mesh easily:

coop-puzzle:
- requires everyone to be equally invested in solving it
- requires everyone to fight off the urge to dick around
- requires everyone to understand the puzzle at the exact same rate
(otherwise one person is explaining the solution, and having someone else explain the answer isn't very fun because you're not really "involved" in solving it. Or they're sat there silently getting bored waiting for the others to figure it out. Or trying to give hints to someone who is in the middle of thinking about a completely different part/method of the solution which causes completely unnecessary friction for no reason. Unless you're super interested in the contents of their head and how they think and listen to them explain their thought process while they catch up but then you'd need to be very close to them to not be weird.)

coop-porn:
- hard to find coop partners for porn games
- specifics of the porn inherently limits audience :. harder to find partners
(This one seems designed around local coop to leave you each with a hand free. Obviously that makes suitable partners even rarer)

puzzle-porn:
- circulatory issues
- getting more thinky becomes you less horny
- getting more horny becomes you less thinky
(Kind of works when combined with defeat-kink themes so failing is framed as a goal itself and is sort of rewarded with scenes/feedback etc)

iirc there is software that lets you play these kinds of games with someone online, i remember it using for one of those kinky fighting games

nonono, you're missing the implication. You are correct that such solutions exist but there's a reason this is intended as couch coop. Emphasis on couch.
The game itself, combined with the 1handed-shared-input-device layout, leaves the players:
  1. Constantly planning around fucking the other playable character (and by association the other player) as part of the gameplay loop and wincondition
  2. Pent up and constantly thinking about sex (the goal is sex, mechanics revolve around sex, both playable characters are animated fucking each other)
  3. Within arms reach (sharing a seat in some manner, possibly on their lap or otherwise brushing up against each other)
  4. Each with a free hand
I find it hard to believe this is isn't an intentional choice, and not just from a "can't be arsed to do controller support" standpoint. And if I'm right then remotely performing "local" coop removes the part of the intended experience which occurs outside of the game itself.
