patreons fault . they forced devs to change a lot of stuff cause of their stupid TOS .
I've enjoyed act 2 for the most part, but agree that it now feels like it is missing something, considering what was available in act 1. I know a lot of people don't like it and I don't use it myself, but I don't suppose the devs have mentioned anything about trying out Substar, or anything else about potentially adding more 'night content'?

they have a subscribestar account but i think they cant add there either due to some new patreon BS on how you cant officially add that type of content on any other platform . the only way they can do it is make a patch and distribute it unofficially ,make it very easy to patch it yourself or rewrite the dialogue to make it borderline ok with the TOS.
Oh damn, that's annoying.. Thought they wouldn't be able to control that, or really care about it, but I guess not.. The patch idea sounds like a decent enough work around though. Any ideas on if patreon/substar members are even still asking for this type of content, or if they are just happy with the newer direction? Would be interested to know if the devs have made any kind of statements or replies if so, on a discord or elsewhere or if they are just trying to ignore it all and move on without that content.

i see people quite often on discord asking about that . saw one post on there from a user which gained lot of positive feedback from others which was too edit the dialogue as a way to bypass the TOS. the only thing devs say that its been "disabled" and that they have no idea if/when it will return.
Yeah, Patreon made them cut a fair amount of content. The incest and sleep interactions. I'm not sure if they also made them remove the Hange titan scenes, I remember playing it like a year or two ago on an old version with pre art changes. There was also a female version of Armin before they changed him back to his normal self. I think it was because it wasn't a popular choice. I can no longer load Hange titan saves since they were removed and the version with the scenes is old and probably only acquirable from the dev.

those scenes were removed by the devs own choice . iirc the fans did not like the titan scenes and the armin scenes were removed cause the dev decided to keep him a male for plot reasons .

great, i do really think that the story should pick up more, we need more pace, i want to know if we are going to side with Annie, Berthold, and Reiner, or with Mikasa and the survey corps.

It undoes the Patreon compliance changes, restoring the scenes where you can interact with the girls in their sleep, and reverting the childhood friend-ification of the MCs sister. I don't think it changes anything that was added after the patreon compliance changes, though, so do with that what you will.
