try opening it with cmd

click on your path in file explorer (example - C:\Users\username\Downloads\Attack On Survey Corps-0-25-0-pc) press edit and type cmd . now in cmd should start while being at your path . now type run.bat . it should run now (if doesnt atleast we will now know why )

Check if the file %game folder%/lib/python3.12/re/__init__.pyc exists. If not, then the game folder was somehow damaged, you need to redownload the game.

Also, there is no need to install Python on your device, the patch uses Python distributed with the game itself.

I don't know if it is a glitch but I was also stuck at that point but after skipping some days in game (sleeping on bed) and also visiting in the hallway each time solved my problem and the game continues from there..
