Overview:
You are a burned out private detective who inherits a house on the coast of New England from your estranged Aunt. You leave your failed business behind and head out to Primrose only to find a lovely but strange town filled with a unique cast of characters. You discover your Aunt was running a charitable safehouse unlike any other. As you learn more about who your Aunt was and who you are, an opportunity to re-open the home stands before you. You will meet a number of beautiful and somewhat odd love interests in the town. Get to know them and make friends with some of the town's citizens. As each mystery unfolds you will find deeper and darker secrets on this fictional peninsula. What will you learn? Who will you fall in love with? And maybe most importantly, how will you handle the responsibility of being the director of Augusta's Home for Wayward Girls. Oh, and try not to get killed.

It was quite fun to read, some lovely and well written characters even outside the LI main cast, the setting is a lot fluffier and calmer than some of the other games by the same Dev. It feels more like mistery than horror even with the supernatural involved. The art style is a slight improvement in my opinnion and the videos worked well for a first try by the dev.

So far my only negative sides is the MC. His flirting is almost straight up like a child pulling the ponytail of his crush, and his reaction to world shatering revelations about the supernatural is just roll with it and question nothing. And that the part 1 is just a long intro of character, almost no real events happens.

Still, quite a good game novel.

Needs to up the age on Innocence. She did say he was close when he guessed she was 16 without ever actually confirming or denying her age....and she's entirely too flirtatious with MC to not make her an LI at some point. Maybe make her 17 and have a birthday while she's there. She's too pretty to put in here and not let us play around with her. I've seen younger looking models that were 18 year olds on this site. I was super sad when he made a point of telling us it was JUST a friendship despite her never confirming she's only 16...cause it makes it sound like it's set in stone.

God i hope so...holy shit...the house did tell him to kill the angel...and we've never actually met the family she claims to travel with. This would be the perfect solution.

Not sure how active I'm gonna be in this thread:

The MC is a fucking joke...he almost worst than the L&J MC. In fact, I truly believe, this MC, L&J MC and Frank from Single Again are all fucking related because they are all utterly pathetic man childs. Is the dev projecting? Is this the only type of MC he can write? Lord it must be insifferable being like this as a person. It's the single...worst...aspect...of this VN. The L&J tie in sucks though, now making it a canon world. I sincerely hope that does not bleed over into the other title.

That aside, it's nice to see a fairly unique(ish) plot and story for a change, no mafia, no guns, no crime or gangs...it's...refreshing. Quite why there is an undead succubus requiring safe haven also is a little beyond me but whatever. It's different...all the LI's look great (imo) but once again...the fucking Atlanta airport baggage they are carrying around.

ANY DEVS READING....MOST PEOPLE IN THE FUCKING WORLD ARE NOT LIKE THIS AND HAVE NO FUCKING ISSUES AND DO NOT NEED 24/7 THERAPY> It's fucking old. It was fucking old in VN's years ago...it's still...fucking...old....

Ahem.,...

Anyway...roll on the house eating Deacon and roll on Ella's husband throwing her out so she comes back to us...heh heh (insert Beavis chuckle). I know it won't happen...but fun to imagine if nothing else....now if you'll excuse me guys, Yara wants to try sucking my soul out again...so catch you later :WeSmart:
