I just started and I'm really struggling with the beginning of the story, which really doesn’t make me want to continue.

The developer seems like a nice person, so I don’t want to sound harsh, but I honestly can’t agree with people saying the MC isn’t a wimp. To me, he comes across as a poor parody of 9S and Gojo, with serious proportion issues. His hands look like they never grew with the rest of his body, and the lack of shoulders makes him look like he’s constantly swaying his hips.

As for his personality, it feels like the dev tried to create a chaotic-good pseudo-Chad, but the humor falls flat. Instead, the MC comes across as a beta pretending to be an alpha. He’s supposed to be strong and feared in the city, yet an annoying pink goblin disrespects him, steals his food in his own room, and he just lets it happen. He even goes to bed “starving” without reacting.

Almost every female character disrespects him. He pretends to be angry or to hold back “for their sake,” but he never actually does anything. A girl hits him for no reason, and somehow he’s the one apologizing. For someone supposedly powerful and dangerous, he spends a lot of time cleaning toilets just because a school principal dislikes him. Instead of pretending, maybe he should finally stand up for himself.

The story doesn’t help either. The world-building is vague and really needs more depth. The maid is so incompetent that after spilling water on herself, she just stays half-naked in the MC’s room for days instead of doing her job. I can only imagine what her employer would think. The same goes for the pink goblin, who casually walks into a stranger’s room alone with zero concern for danger. Their behavior feels nonsensical.

On top of that, the pacing drags with endless, pointless dialogue that adds nothing to the story.

Overall, the execution makes it very hard to stay engaged or invested in the game.

PS: If you want a good example of a character who is both funny and dangerous in his chaos, check out the MC from Lycoris Radiata before the remake. The game had 7 chapters on Ren’Py, and he’s honestly one of the best MCs I’ve seen.

PSS: And he also has very good proportions.

I Truly appreciate the feedback!.
Aura Colors never was a good story from the start but I'm working a little by a little to improve things visually and storyline too, kinda hard to do when I'm busy with a lot of other stuff but i will do it since there are people who like the game and also feedbacks like yours make me want to try and improve it more.
So thank you and hopefully you will like what's coming in the future.

I forced myself to keep going after the good improvements in episode 2 and the MC’s new look, but I still find far too many things confusing and frustrating. Martial arts and magic are supposed to play a major role in this world, yet after 4 episodes the only “fight” I’ve seen was against some thugs in episode 1 if that even counts... For anyone coming for combat, that’s disappointing.

Then there’s the tone. I can’t tell if the world is meant to be mature and dangerous or not. The MC has flashbacks of killing gang members and being this ruthless killer, but in the present he cracks lame jokes, avoids confrontation, has zero self-respect, and just laughs off insults even from small-time thugs or an old lady threatening him with death (I can't stand her between us). Honestly, at this point, I almost wish his curse would just take him out.

Think about it, a kid who grows up in a violent world, kills people young, and supposedly trains in combat every day doesn’t turn into a goofy nice guy. Either he becomes emotionally numb and sarcastic at best, or he goes completely unhinged to a psychopath who does whatever he wants without letting anyone walk over him, at least without any form of structure to contain it. Especially if he’s as powerful as the story claims and has no parents or master to keep him grounded. With that setup, you don’t get someone who avoids fights and loves helping people and hugs. (Watch The Boys if you want a good example of what absolute power really does to people.)

And why even bother putting him in a school if we never see him attend class, study, or interact with this so-called group of dangerous girls ? All we really see is him taking out the trash... As for the girls themselves, they mostly threaten or disrespect him, which makes it impossible to get attached to any of them except maybe Melanie.

Then there’s Yuki. Honestly, she feels mentally unstable. She follows the MC everywhere like a dog without thinking. He says he wants to stay low-profile, and the first thing she does is move in with him. She has the mindset of a child but the power of one of the most dangerous people in the city. That’s basically like giving an AK-47 to a kid. We see the results with the guy in the bike helmet, who says she almost killed him and calls her extremely dangerous. But instead of addressing the problem, the MC blames the victim because he insulted her. Really ? I love my dog too, but that doesn’t mean I let him jump on every mailman or pee on the carpet. The MC should be training her, not excusing everything she does.

And let’s not even get started on the so-called rival family. They walk into a negotiation with an enemy gang on their turf without weapons or protection. I can’t understand how they’ve survived this long. Of course, the other side took one of their family members hostage without a shred of resistance, what a shocker !

I could go on, but I’ll stop here. Bottom line, if you want to build a strong world, don’t copy Japanese manga heroes. They’re not good role models. There’s a reason most of them are 15 years old immature, shallow, and lacking depth...

PS: If you want another good example of an experienced and dangerous killer who doesn’t let himself get treated like a doormat, I recommend Dogma. Really good MC and memorable.

Noted.
I'm planning on reworking some characters and the mc will be among those characters but after the upcoming update or two, little by a little I'm planning to improve characters and storyline too because I don't tell much about the background of everything that's going on but I'm going to start diving into that in the future.
Thanks again for the feedback.

No problem. Once again, if I take the time to write all this, it’s not to criticize aimlessly. I’m doing it because I think your game has potential, but unfortunately it’s poorly executed. People often underestimate how important it is to have a well-written MC, but for me that’s 50% of what makes someone stick with your work.

I’ve played a lot of AVNs, and I’ve forgotten most of them. In the end, I clearly remember only two categories:

1 - those with a very rich and well-written story and world, which can easily carry even a flat or uninteresting MC.

2 - and those with a very well-written MC, who ends up carrying the story. Usually in this second category, the story is also well-written, so it works even better.

All this to say, your game has huge potential. Don’t give up, keep improving it as you plan to. I wish you the best of luck, and I’ll be following its progress with interest.

If it's really just going to be a Kinetic Novel, you shouldn't waste time on single-choice options, as it consumes code and such unnecessary, only if the options have some weight or the option to avoid something there would be good.

Oh by the way, I thought the pink mini gremlin It would be the most annoying, now Ivy is added to the equation and I'm not just saying it, the characters in the game also think so. (Personally I think he gets an evangelical fuck from the MC "hahaha" maybe that way his attitude and personality will change)... As a side note, I'm already looking forward to the next update and the option that while Ivy is sexy and all, if there's no evangelical fucking, I'd say there should be an option to avoid her, no more...

Note: I'm already looking forward to the next scene update NSFW sexy and sweaty, preferably just between Emma and the MC, so greetings xDIONYSUSx
