Holding an update for something like that seems awfully weird when you can just release the demo later. It's not like people are going to be less interested in the demo just because it's not paired with the fixes...right?

...No? I was directly responding to the last post on the previous page that mentioned how the creator of the game has deliberately delayed the long-promised and oft-discussed patch for the sake of pairing it with a demo for their next game.

Picked up the game because it looked fun. Got into town, tried my hand at bartending...

...and then proceeded to crack the code on my first attempt, hit over x737 (I wasn't fast enough to screenshot at the end), level 37, and over 3k gold, immediately skyrocketing to level 29 before ultimately giving up the minigame because I wanted to see what else I'd get to do in the game. I have only just done this, and came here immediately before finding out whether or not what I did was notable or a drop in the water compared to later progression.

This is good.

Edit: Oh- my bad. I maxed out attribute points, apparently, because I hit lv. 30 after locking in what I had. A little bit of the funny.

Does anyone know an offline archive or alternate hosting of the Wiki?
The Wiki link on the first post is to archive.org which has been throwing 429 Error due to DDOS or other malfeasance reasons.

I tried both links and they worked for me. I am using a VPM are using a VPM or proxy or something?
Yup. VPN blockage.

Uhg. I hate it when sites block VPN. With Archive.org, I guess I can understand if they are trying to thwart AI ingestion but it also prevents legit users who are "privacy first" (like me) or folks evading illiberal governments.

i use mulvad VPN and i they have new update that makes it very hard for sites to detect you are using a VPN, stops you from getting blocked.

Good to know about that. tyvm.

Mulvad is my preferred choice but I had to use my runner up Proton VPN. I got their 2 year for 50% off and can have 10 active devices compared to Mulvad's 5 connections. (Both being very linux friendly and transparent with their audits). My Proton VPN deal washes out to be a 1/3 the cost for Mulvad per month.

If other readers are considering a VPN, do your research to find out how how shady the past is for the owner of SurfShark, PIA, etc. They all belong to the same parent "company" with bad history. Your options are host your own, Mulvad, or Proton VPN.

Update: I forgot to mention, if you check the Mulvad "resellers" page, you'll see those who repackage & partner with Mulvad ... like Mozilla (Firefox) VPN, Malwarebytes, etc.
