I don't know if the preview gifs are just sped up but the animations for the scenes are very slow in game for me and it feels kinda choppy

Previews are actual speed, sounds like performance issues.

Yeah she is getting duo with Janet the next update, which is great because the patrons just vote for new characters instead of progressing the development with the current ones

Because devs tend to feel giving patrons a choice of how the game is developed is a good idea, it usually isn’t.

Well at least aurelia puts content not for everyone but consistently as promised, not like patreon milking cough Innocent Witches cough Game of Whores cough
But with 10k per month now I would expect Mirthal to expand the team, work more etc to push the deveploment
