rip the site falsely flagged the game as having an update (i assume someone accidentally hit the wrong button or something) and i got my hopes up

Space Paws is a good non gay furry game, I guess brothel king could count if you get some furry girl packs

I can see why it would happen here. Unlike most games that I see that are not leaked. That is outside of DRM. The dev has no presence on F95. Condescending supporters that use "nice" words to try to disguise the fact, also dose not help.
It was done as a sign of respect for the creator and his wishes. Coming here with a high and mighty attitude "Gentlemen freeloaders", and "I speak as a person who supports the author on the boosty" effectively saying (I am better then you pirates) on a piracy site.
Will only have a negative effect. As has been said many times on this site. The dev owes those that don't pay for his content nothing, and at the same time those that don't pay for his content owe him nothing. They owe his supporters even less.
Gently reminding what the dev's wishes are without trying to place yourself in a position of (authority) will go much farther, but at the same time there is also nothing that any of us (including the dev) can do to stop people from posting.
I have said it before and I will say it again. "What keeps leeks from happening is the longstanding respect between the users and the dev".
Not much has been added in this version anyway. Best to wait for another significant update as it is nearly five minutes of content that has yet to be fully illustrated.

This. I have supported the dev on Patreon for a long time but you don't get any game-related stuff on there because of Patreon's rules.
