Which is way too much for the time he needs to release a new build.
Plus the time it took to fully colour some areas (like the park) is a joke. Who would ever keep that in for several builds instead of cleaning it up before moving on?
There is quality work in each build, yes. But also no focus, which is a very bad omen for the future. I for my part smell a sour end to this project.
Idk felt the dev focused on alot on Quantity of the game over Quality I like the art style but half of the game is either sketches or black and white I prefer some what colour, but decides to focus on adding new locations instead of fixing old onces like the park you mentioned. I also dont see the point in Redoing a location/updating it (Mall) where others are still black and white. Idk didnt play 0.1.4 so could be wrong

You all need to keep in mind that one person is doing the coding, the art, the writing, etc. That shit takes a long ass time to do as separate elements, but together, this is a multi year endever. Don't get me wrong; I do think the Dev could do a much better job at communicating with the game community. And their design management skills are a bit all over the place. They should have focused more energy on completing the Sister and the Automaton stories before focusing so heavily on the side stories. As for the unfinished art, that's pretty normal as placeholders for the finished product. A bit annoying at times, yes, but also, this is a game that is actively being worked on. Don't expect finished renders in an unfinished game. Also, keep in mind that while there is a paid version for supporters, you will get a free version eventually. You are not losing a thing by waiting. And I would personally rather have a higher quality version I have to wait longer to get, than have a rushed version that's half-assed. Also, keep in mind the Dev is Russian.

I heard the whole "he does it all alone" excuse a million times. No one said he should start a project that is clearly ment for a team. That's a "his problem" in my books.
That still doesn't excuse the fact that he leaves introduced areas half-assed in for a long time before finishing them. That alone alerts new supporters who might think he's not giving a shit.
Plus since he's russian, who's attacking who? I dare to say as long as he doesn't live close to ukrainian borders he's quite fine.

I'm still choosing to wait for the full release. Beta could have bugs or unfinished scenes that will be patched with the lower tier release.

I got as far as identifying the 3 beasts (I assume each of them has a key), and got the beastiaries for them, and got my automaton to interact with them.
But that is as far as I got from the point where you got stuck.
I can't seem to interact with them any further, solo or with my automaton by my side.
