I include my handbrake preset in the main post, here's one that I updated a little more. it's at 11K bitrate for both. One thing to keep in mind is the base bitrate of the video most authors upload at like 50K bitrate which is pointless on H265 and AV1 and you save a shitload of space at 11K instead.hi there, i found your post in hydrafxx and was really glad that yours have a lot more smaller size than what I found there... and I'm wondering whether you use the presets made by handbrake itself or you have your own settings to compress the file?
I'm trying to compress a 600mb file which is 9 minutes to a smaller size without reducing it's quality by a lot...
i tried once but its size grew instead of reduced... lol
I'll take a look at it, 1080p so the bitrate might already be low enough but some creators are just weird like that.Yeah I'm also good with FPSBlyck, maybe Nyakumi? It's taking up approx 150gb in my hard drive right now and that's with some large vids already removed according to my preferences.
YMD maybe instead of MDYThe tool seems to work on linux with wine and seems to work really good ill insert MDY format so people have something to go off of before i reformat it, do you want me to reformat FPSBlyck?
EDIT: Not really a point in me reformatting it as it only takes up 12GBs with all the videos in it. Bitrate is already at a good spot.
I'm using protonvpn on linux, if that helps.Hey, you asked about how to run the VPN only for your torrent client. Which VPN are you using?
You basically want a VPN that supports split tunnelling and then to bind your VPN to QBittorrent, so the client can only torrent through the VPN connection.
-vf scale=-2:1080 -c:v libsvtav1 -preset 5 -crf 30 -pix_fmt yuv420p10le -svtav1-params mbr=6M -c:a libopus -b:a 128k
That's odd if it didn't do 12000kbps, I might have to redo it and I've got some good news i guess, split tunneling for protonvpn is there and I think I can make a work around. So you do HW encodes with AMD's AV1 encoder with speed preset and Quality 77.
I dont know about this quality chief, but i guess you got alot on your hands and life is short.
Nyans will bless you in your sleep.

Are you compressing the UHD files or the HD version? I heard someone mention what black magic Nyakumi is doing to have those UHD filesize blow up exponentially. I don't know if it'll help though, could you try compressing both the UHD and HD version of 1 video to test the quality and filesize?ALSO I am redoing all the videos for Nyakumi as the quality is sorta... bad (For some reason??)
File size will be the same, due to the same bitrate. It would look better if I downscaled it from 4K to 1080p but you would loose out on some sharpness and detail (some people want), anywho I'm almost done setting up my docker vpn but I'm a little stumped right now.Are you compressing the UHD files or the HD version? You can reduce the filesize even more, by just encoding using CPU encoding, instead of the GPU. It will have higher quality while also being a smaller filesize, but it will take longer to encode.File size will be the same, due to the same bitrate. I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm stuck on LAN_NETWORK not defined via -e,
I'll post an update but once I/IF i fix this, file's will be made available via torrent instead.
UPDATE: Im losing my fucking mind trying to do this so I'm just gonna make a window server instead as proton vpn has split tunneling on it instead
The jellyfin problem is most likely caused by the VPN, since I'm guessing it's effecting the network to jellyfin. The solution to fix it shouldn't be too hard, in your split tunnel, just remove jellyfin, so the VPN is not used for its connection.HOLY SHIT.... well good news for you guys. I finally figured it out on windows with a working split tunnel. And got everything back and running I'd say I'd have a torrent for everything in about 2-3 hours just have to download the last bit of files and make then available for you guys. Bad news for me I lost my jellyfin files no idea what happened I guess the drive just emptied itself out.
No like my drive just nuked itself and removed all of it.The jellyfin problem is most likely caused by the VPN, since I'm guessing it's effecting the network to jellyfin.
