Announcement from the AVA Developer – Progress Update
I’m temporarily pausing AVA to experiment with a small, cartoon-style project as a thank-you to all supporters. The new game is called “Lagoon Lovers (Stranded with a Non-verbal Girl)”.
AVA originally aimed for this tone, but my skills back then weren’t ready. Now that I’ve improved, I want to create a version that’s tighter, better, and deeper.

About the game

  • Light survival + slice-of-life on a tropical island
  • No spoken dialogue — communication is through sign language/emoji, fitting the “non-verbal” concept
  • Systems are built on AVA almost entirely, but redesigned for better depth and feel
Core systems (demo)

  • Weather: clear and rainy season, random, and it affects activities
    • Example: Rain → food/resource gathering becomes harder; you must plan ahead
  • Resources & basic crafting: gather leaves, wood, stones, fruit, go fishing, and build simple shelter
  • Energy/Hunger: eating fruit/coconut restores; weather influences energy consumption
Status & timeline

I initially planned to launch today, but the systems turned out more complex than expected. The demo is moved to Friday–Sunday next week, so it’s properly playable and not rushed.

AVA status

AVA is currently in content polish and balancing. I’ll return to it right after the Lagoon Lovers demo is done, so the two projects don’t pull resources from each other.

Announcement from the AVA Developer
The demo of Lagoon Lovers (Stranded with a Non-verbal Girl)
has been completed and has been handed over to the English localization team
We expect it to be ready to play by tomorrow (barring any major issues).
About the demo
No spoken dialogue — communication is via sign language/emoji, matching the “non-verbal” concept.
Easy-to-pick-up gameplay, great for short sessions.
Systems are built on AVA and expanded with more depth.
System highlights
Weather: clear / rainy season (random) that affects activities.
Example: when it rains, foraging and resource gathering become harder, so planning ahead is important.
Resource gathering & basic crafting: leaves, wood, stone, fruit.
Status management: Energy / Hunger — fruit/coconut restore these, and weather influences energy consumption.
Next steps
Finalize English translation and fix minor bugs → release the demo.
After that, I’ll resume AVA immediately (AVA is currently in content polish and balancing).

Announcement from the AVA: Velanox Developer – Update 1.3

Before getting into it, two short notes:

  • Lagoon Lovers (ติดเกาะกับน้องใบ้) – the demo has been completed. It’s a small, relaxing project; if you haven’t tried it yet, please do.
  • I’ve made a game summary in the group (based on version 1.2). If you run into any issues, you can check it there; I’ll keep updating it gradually.
What’s new in 1.3

  • Dating minigame (long-awaited—designed for over 6 months)
    Easy to play, with two styles:
    Guessing/intuition to gain points, ② Using gifts to resolve situations
    Status: still an experimental version, so it’s enabled for Youko first.
  • Significant expansion of “Moonlight School” (more area/content)
  • Added 5 characters: Alisa, Mali, Praew, Fern, Teacher Ploy
    Note:
    the school content has grown a lot, so in patch 1.3 I may need to split time to other parts; not all content may be covered in one round. Apologies in advance.
  • Male character – it’s a surprise; please look forward to it in the game
  • “Massage” minigame for Vanil (Vanil) – details to experience in-game
  • New locations: Walking Street (rural town) / Casino for future luck-based activities
Development status & release timing
  • Overall progress ~70%
  • Target release: end of this month (if no major issues)
Message to players
The game is making a big leap in both systems and content. If you find any problems/suggestions,
please report them in the group—I’m listening to everything (since many systems are self-designed, there will be things some like and some don’t; thank you for all your feedback).
