thanks for your masterpieceAnnouncement from the Developer of AVA: Velanox
Version 1.2 is now fully completed!
The game is scheduled to be released at the end of this month
First of all, I’d like to share some news ✨
We’ll be holding an event to give away this version for free to players
who have cleared at least 100 events in the game.
The details of this event will be announced later this
evening on both the group and the AVA Velanox page, so stay tuned!
Another point… some players mentioned that Version 1.1 felt a bit short.
If you supported me in the previous version and felt that the content was “not worth it,”
please let me know on the page. I’ll gladly give you Version 1.2 for free — developer to player, heart to heart
For this version, the content is quite long, so I’ve decided to split it into two parts,
especially since I’m also working on Rebuild Harem at the same time.
What’s New in Velanox 1.2
Still supports 6 languages: Thai, English, Chinese, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Spanish
Added a new Thai student character: Alisa
Introduced the new Jade Mining system, serving as the 4th in-game expense mechanic
Added an Email system to bring more depth and flavor to the gameplay
New Achievements system to show off your progress (requires a new playthrough )
The 5th secret boss (the Beggar…) — as wacky and over-the-top as ever, haha!
Finally…
A big thank you to all supporters who have always helped fund and support my game’s development
I promise that this game will continue to grow by leaps and bounds, setting the standards that fans can look forward to.
AVA Velanox has grown because of every single one of you ❤ View attachment 5285262
<AVA> I saw your reaction. I use URM (Universal Ren'Py... Mod, I think) to edit variables in Ren'Py games. It's nice to reduce grind in a lot of games.Oof, this game is not compatible with URM, sadly. Pretty sure it's because all of the coding was done in a language it doesn't recognize.
Oh well.![]()
You're right Almost everything is in Thai<AVA> I saw your reaction. I use URM (Universal Ren'Py... Mod, I think) to edit variables in Ren'Py games. It's nice to reduce grind in a lot of games.
However, in this game, all of the editable variables are not in English, from what I could see, and the values are flagged as "unknown." So my assumption is that URM just can't recognize any of the variables or values. I assume it's because maybe the game's primary language isn't English, but I could be wrong.
Regardless, I don't want to mess the game up trying to edit anything, so I left it alone lol
Yep. That makes sense. URM and other cheat engines won't work then lol. URM can decipher languages like Spanish and Russian, but based on what I can tell, it can't decipher Thai, or probably many other Asian languages that use symbols. You're right Almost everything is in Thai
You can't change it even if you know the value, i found some with urm and it's ▯ ▯ ▯ ▯ like but with no space, i changed it but doesn't work.Yep. That makes sense. Porcinet The only way I think you can edit variables in this game is to basically try to figure out what the variables are in Thai, and then turn on the dev console and edit them using Shift+O.
That's a hell of a lot of work though if you don't speak Thai lol.
At the end of the day, it's still a Ren'Py game. It's still editable. My guess is you're just not using the correct variable. It'll still have to be through the console using Shift + O.You can't change it even if you know the value, i found some with urm and it's ▯ ▯ ▯ ▯ like but with no space, i changed it but doesn't work.
Tell me how to change square when they are the same size xD.At the end of the day, it's still a Ren'Py game. It's still editable. My guess is you're just not using the correct variable. It'll still have to be through the console using Shift + O.
That's not the console. That's just the variable viewer (which I don't know how to bring up).Tell me how to change square when they are the same size xD.
I know what i showed you is a part of all variable, i use unren to have evey dev things; even with the dev console and shift + o it's like that it wont change the "coding"That's not the console. That's just the variable viewer (which I don't know how to bring up).
You have to locate the 00console.rpy file and change the ability to open the dev console to "True." Then Shift + O brings up the ability to open the console in game to change variables.
There's more in-depth instructions on this forum if you need a step-by-step on how to do it.![]()

Hey Ava!Porcinet
Lately, I might reply to you a bit slowly — or sometimes not at all — because I’m busy redesigning many things for the next version, including the main menu UI.
I’m not a highly educated game developer; I’m just an ordinary person who truly loves creating games. Many things will be fixed and improved in the right way.
Another thing is that I’m not very good at English (those who have followed me for a long time already know this). But even if my English isn’t great, I’ve always given my best effort.
As for you, feel free to criticize my game however you like.
Originally, my game was designed only for Thai players. Now that I want to bring it to the international market, I understand that improvements can’t be finished all at once.
This experience will be carried forward and used to make the next games better and better.
Thank you so much to everyone for understanding what I’m trying to share Experience will teach me little by little
