If it is the not wanting to give it away for free that stops him from dropping updates here, he could put it on itch.io with a minimum price. I myself would gladly purchase it in that case, provided that I keep receiving the updates, so that I won't find myself having paid for an incomplete game.

I came to this decision based on my own experiences. Often, when I play h-games I have ideas how I'd like my character to act. For example, if someone is treating my character like shit, maybe I don't want her to give in to their desires. Unfortunately, in many games that means I will be missing some necessary sex stat points and new scenes won't unlock unless I go against my desire and have her give in. My goal is to NOT do that here. You don't like how creepy the Mayor is towards Aylia? That's fine, tell him to piss off and have Aylia get the upper hand against him. The only impact it may have is Aylia may still be inexperienced when she runs into the next scene later in the game. Her dialogue will represent that, but you'll still get the scene.
Thank you for this. I don't know how many games have done this to me. I find myself asking "why would the character even consider this option with this asshole". Scale Garden games were terrible about this. I certainly appreciate any work you do towards avoiding this on this wonderful game.

Even worse are the games where getting raped boosts the protagonist's lust level. What kind of people think that that is erotic, in particular for fems that enjoy eroge games!! And it scares me pondering what males fancy that!!
Too many people grew up playing Rance games I think... They're so praised and yet I find them terrible because it's just rape, rape, and more rape... Not even of a revenge kind where the character supposedly "deserves" it so you can sort of just enjoy them "getting punished" in an overly harsh way in reality but a way that's "fine" in a game, nope, just random ass rapes for no damn reason.
When it comes to the massive amount of this crap, I really think Rance has a lot to do with it. Too few games back then of any quality - still a thing now but even worse then - and Rance, for all that it was a ton of rape, was clearly a "labor of love" by the author(s) of the time rather than just a quick cash grab so more people saw it as a "good game". (It actually had quality gameplay and story for the time.) And have emulated/been inspired by it.

New update any day now, I'm certain of it!
I'm just working on it in my spare time. I post status updates every few Fridays on Patreon. Just check back every 6 months or so and maybe there will be an update.
I relaly would love to have a update. But i know you well after all that year and it very likely your are redoing the same picture for make it ""better"" , but i think they are already great and should not be change.
I think you should have some one that decide for you when stop improved a cg because you seem to be a perfectioniste.
So i propose that you limit you to 1 month by cg and what ever the resulta is you should stop and ask for you patron / some one you trust if they find it good

i can wait few years, this game will be worth it if it comes out, not sure why people are complaining about how long it's taking, I mean look at GTA 6

I disagree. Poking and prodding for answers can only be a good thing as long as you are not overdoing it. If the developer has no plans to update the game anytime soon he can just not answer.
Sure but then you would have a group of members in the forum ragging him for "not answering." There is zero win with this community. Glad this was moved to the abandoned tag though as its clearly not a high priority to the developer at this time (which is his choice.) If it comes out great, if not there's tons of other games in the same genre with active developers.
