Would be nice if a few of these people who are all disappointed because of little things now also say their opinion or is the pain of disappointment greater than someone who lives in a place where there is a war and everything else is more important than writing you messages.You make absolutely no sense whatsoever...

Jokes aside, the reasons for his absence sound totally valid, but I fail to see how that stopped him from saying anything in the past 4-5 months. I feel like someone who's making thousands of dollars every month thanks to his supporters should have some sense of responsibility to let them know what's going on. Not a single word about any of this feels kinda..meh. If I was supporting him financially I'd be upset after reading this post on Patreon. And yeah, I get that he's stopped charging his patrons, which is not something every developer out there would do.
Thing is, we all have problems. Some more than others, but none of us could stay away from work for months without saying a word, no matter what's going on in our lifes. Atleast not without losing our jobs. Having a fairly large community of followers and financial supporters, I think one could expect better communication from the creator. And yes, I know getting donations on Patreon isn't considered a real job and all that jazz, but once you reach a certain point and size, simply disappearing isn't the right play if you ask me.
That being said, I'm glad he's doing fine and hope he can continue the work on this project in June. It's one of the few games I'm personally looking forward to play.

Thing is, it was kind of his job. He literally formed a LLC because he was making too much money. At least he said he did. I'm with you, it doesn't take long to hop on his discord and say this stuff when it happened. Which is why I have a hard time fully believing it. I hope everything he said is true because the alternative is just sick. War broke out, but it seems he was ok to do other things. I question everything that is ever said to me. For the most part, questioning things has helped me. Something just isn't ringing right with me. The story just seems too fantastical if that makes sense? I guess being from NJ just makes me think every story is bs until it's actually proven in some way or another, lol. He got me into game development and I'll always be thankful for that. I know I'm being cynical here and I apologize, but it certainly feels like a situation to say "I'll believe it when I see it." I hope I'm dead wrong......but his track record says otherwise on his follow through.

Update on my situation
Hello guys,
first of all I am sorry for going radio silent for few months. There has been lot of going on in my life starting from new year and I didnt have time to deal with game at all and I didnt even know when I can get back to development, so I didnt want to give false promises.
1.) I ve already moved out from in laws, however they started pushing for divorce and quite unfair half asset split so I had rough times dealing with that. I still dont want to divorce in order to have rights whats gonna happen with wife in future and being prepared to take care of her.
2.) I ve been selling and buying several properties due to our asset settlement. And selling property which is owned by person with guardian is pain in the ass process.
3.) I have been given in January offer you cant refuse. First for one 6 month project and then full time employment in Jeff Bazos company as VAT manager. I took the project immediately cause it was hell of a good money + maintenance fee after and it wasn't clear what I do after. (whether i take full time employment) Patreon money when you deduct outsourcing of sound making and story-writing and count 3D asset expenditures was not reliable and sufficient income due to acquired debt during asset split.
4.) I thought I can work on game too, but I had little free time for that as I was overwhelmed with new assignment and complying with various policies in the first month. Then war started our sound guy got literally bombed out in one of the Ukraine cities, he survived and continued making molotov cocktails. As many of my Ukraine friends families were in really big troubles too, I did some volunteer work when i had free time instead of game.
Summary and conclusion:
I will finish project until end of May use the money to pay out most of debts I had to take on due to real property sale/acquisition. I recently refused the employment contract for now (luckily for me it obviously didnt close the door) and from June I will continue with game development.
Only thing I am doing on the game in the meantime is that I am making my own library of default animations I can reuse in the future, therefore if you have any ideas of your favorite porn action... drop below the link. I plan to make polls in future for you to vote what kind of default animation I will prepare.

I was actually not gonna post anything as 90% of people will just complain & make dumb remarks but i figured after reading some comments, I will as last post was a while ago.
Just be glad Dev has not completely abandoned game, & remember he is an actual human being that has RL problems.

It affects your relationship with Angelica and changes some dialogues.
By the end of the game, you haven't really done much with her, so not sure what else it may affect.
