UPDATE: Yes, you have been hearing about it for a good long while now...and now it's time to make good on all the chatter.

PC (Windows for sure, give it a try on Linux) Users:

(Note: It said windows and linux on the dist build in ren'py...but my old linux machine did not run it properly, or I messed something up testing it...but it works on Windows for sure. Further testing will be done to see if I just failed, and worst case another "release" for linux will come soon.)

Mac Users:

All: These links will expire in 31 days. (Dec 6th-ish) They are also perhaps not 'the best' file host. Don't badger anyone with "Why" - TLDR, either a new link will happen or new stuff may be ready then anyway.

Things to keep in mind:

*It is still a work in progress...not a final release. Its steps toward what is intended to be such, but not there yet. Things moved much slower than previously...and I won't go into the why's and wherefors, just know, its not given up on, even if now there is another post instead of the main one of this thread, or a new one, or even the old one on page 90.

*The core of the game has been renamed BUT the save directory location should be the same as the old versions...so in that way, your saves should still be there. However...there are enough changes throughout..."everywhere" that starting fresh is probably the best course of action.

*For the graphics: You have options by contributor, and/or can use multiple if you want. Minimum, it requires you to have the old "original" graphics chosen. If you want those, then have them at the top of the list. If you want to use newer graphics or combinations, make sure each contributor is selected, and then use the arrows next to their names to move them up or down in priority. Top pick will determine the graphic shown. If that contributor doesn't have an image for the coded part, the next one down the list will show, until in worst case situation, no contributor's graphic is shown. AvalonX is the old original artwork. There is of course no new graphics of this kind, nor is there likely to ever be. Novaca's content is closest to the original content, but cleaner visually. SWP's content and FoxyTail's are notably different from the original stylistically. No...I cannot tell you who has what images for what scenes off the top of my head...so don't bother asking...every release from here on out SHOULD have MORE images as part of it...if all goes as planned.

*There are at least 2 "under construction" sections. Original intent was to have more done, but it didn't happen that way...sorry. The replacement for the instant messenger and the first phases of the Car content. Don't expect much from these areas until at least 0.8...but you can get a "glimpse" at what's on the docket. The framework of the other new stuff was left out, and will be incluided when it has more substance (0.8 and beyond.)

Firstly, Yahhh a (mini) update

Just a quick note..
Although we've tried to solve many bugs and glitches, due to the additional content etc there may STILL be bugs,spelling mistakes either from the original version or this update, so PLEASE let use know



Secondly,

I saw that someone in this section made AI images of Cream; they're basic, but acceptable. I've been working on this.
Perhaps I could tweak it a bit more to make it look more like Aval0x's style,

It's compatible with everything and for some reason, it can also generate Sonic somehow; perhaps this could be useful for adding more Cream content.

However....2: I am already 'in over my head' as far as this goes...I will NOT be adding the work of making new images,

That said...3: If you want to generate images and are willing to put in the time, and willing to contribute, we have the current version set so it can have any of many contributors/artists graphics in the game...and that could be part of it.

As a suggestion, since yours are close to Avalon/Novaca style and there has been many additional 'new style' graphics (SWP/FoxyTails version) added to existing scenes etc (I should know - last count was ~358 'new' to ~196 'old') there are still plenty of 'old school' version graphics (Avalonx/Novaca) that are 'missing' - meaning those players that prefer that style are missing out.

So perhaps you could PM with Novaca and assist into making alternate old style versions of the new style that will show up in-game if selected. You can look at the new style to see what the scene is showing to get an idea then make an old style alternative with the EXACT same file name (make sure it's exact in spelling and capitalization - Novaca and I have made that mistake before)

To see how they look in the game, (in your copy of the game) you could either hack the game to allow a new separate folder dedicated to your name to be included (it's 'fairly' simple to do), or just as a test - copy them in to Novaca's folders and have it selected as 'high priority' for use in game

Once you have a decent amount between you and Novaca, them perhaps they can be bundled together and a link to downloaded and copied into the game/image folder. In fact, you could do this between yourselves and not involve any other fans on the 'team' as it's simply a 'DLC' pack of sorts

A: I suspect we will have an official android release soon. Will update the 0.7.5 release post if/when it happens.

B: I say this because to my knowledge, there was no testing done on android specifically, whether through a full build (which doesn't exist yet) or via emulation.

C: A lot of changes have been done by a 'baby coder' who wouldn't know what to do or not do to avoid issues in specific to android in Ren'py...its possible that this is the cause...and it will take time and learning to make it so that does not happen again...hopefully this can be fixed by 0.8, however, I would refer back to A....I think we can have an actual android distribution relatively soon like we did before.

D: If you each know what version of the Android OS you are using, and Joiplay, that can help us rule out issues that are outside of our control. (For example: If everyone having problems was on an outdated android build, or Joiplay version while up to date people work fine, then that helps the troubleshooting.)

Right - I didn't WANT to do this but seeing some people are having trouble with Pleevy's link I've signed up (using a disposable 10minute email) to MEGA to upload the file for downloading here.

Since it's a 'free' account according to AI the MEGA account is

With a free MEGA (mega.nz) account, your files are stored indefinitely as long as your account remains active.

• Activity Requirement: You must log in at least once every 90 days to keep the account active.
• If inactive for over 90 days, files may be permanently deleted.
• Free accounts get 20 GB of storage and retain file history for 30 days via Rewind (for recovery).

So, files last long-term with regular logins, but risk deletion if the account is abandoned.

And as mentioned since I'm using a disposable 10-min email - which ironically has now expired as I'm typing this - there's little chance of me keep signing in to keep link active - but at least this way we have AT LEAST 90 days using a file server that F95 allows,

last i checked, when you play with cream in her room after she is comfortable without her dress, she can hug you and you can let her discover how "happy" you are and it can lead to sex. If you do, it ends the day after. the dialogue also implies it's the first time you've done it even when you have already had sex with her

Thanks for that... it narrows down where to look now instead of guessing
EDIT: OK ... I THINK I figured out what's happening. It may or may not be a simple bug fix

Looks like we might have this found and solvable. It did not make it into this mini-release, BUT It will be one of the first edits toward 0.8.

I'm personally on android 10 kernel 4.9 with joiplay 1.20.550 and haven't had any issues as of yet
