Well, there are scenes for many types of fetishes in the game. And most of them are optional. Yes, there are some non-skippable scenes to make the narrative easier. But you're talking as if there was only anal in the entire game, which isn't true.

I did it before start training that last time with Gina. And the MC still talks about how she's far superior, I haven't reached that point of talking with Anya, I've just assumed that didn't work because of that.
You're seeing MC say that she's superior because this training is based on whether you trained her the previous Sunday, which means she wasn't injured. And if she wasn't injured, she should be able to beat Anya, and the variable should be 4 or greater. As you edited the variable, but the choice you made in the story remains the same, you will continue to see this version of the training where MC says she is superior. After the training, upon arriving home, MC makes another mental comment, this one based on the variable. This is where you will notice if you did it right.
In short, if you've edited the variable, you will be able to unlock Anya's scene but don't expect cohesion in all texts, as the game tracks routes chosen in the past in addition to the variables.
