There's a few issues with that, one theoretical and one real.

The theoretical issue deals with contracts. Assuming this was all above-board and a contract was written out (big assumption, given that we ALLEGEDLY don't appear to be dealing with the brightest bulbs in the shed), there could be a non-compete clause buried in there, or something indicating that the devs forfeit their copyright to anything related to Bare Backstreets. If contracts were signed, Jasonafex would almost certainly have enough information to sue the former devs.

The real issue is that the game is such a janky mess that nobody in their right mind would want to base anything on it.

1- Jasonafex is not an artist. He only leeches off Kabier's art, aka his wife. Even back when he did "animations" on FA, he used other people's art (most of the time without even their consent).

2 - It's not about stealing, it's about being extra lazy. The entire game is made by a poor naive external developer who will be lucky if they ever get paid at all. The ONLY THING they do for the game it's the art, and even that they are too lazy to do it and now prefer on using AI. I would not be surprised at all if Amorous 2 will be made entirely with AI art at this point.

No, apparently it just fixes some of the animations, coding, and fixes the barrier/ai.
Also, faster loading and less lag.

Edit: After playing it a bit, most of the coding issues have been resolved, although there's still some left, and the animations on Jade have been edited to remove Genesis from Jade's h-scenes although Jade's blood red teeth remain in the kobold Dom scene. Also, 1 good little change is the Dom button (defaut: f key) which after you've beaten an enemy you can play the h-scene without losing hp, but the button vanishes when they vanish, so be quick.

A few issues with the update:
In an arena fight, the left side is inaccessible to see but you can still move in the area.

Sometimes when getting put in an h-scene, and if an enemy is still attacking you, the h-scene would cancel, enemy vanish, and you'll be unable to move until you are hit again.

In some of the edited h-scenes with Jade, there will be some graphical glitches appearing in the h-scene but will vanish once out, it is prominent in the mimic h-scene.

Are you insane? It's bad enough that they stole Peacewolf from her old husband. Adding her as a playable character where she can get fucked by enemies would be adding salt to the wound. Which means he'd TOTALLLY actually do it!

Yo what, I need context on the whole peacewolf thing, this sounds sad, but also hilarious, Jason and Kab can't stay out of trouble for 5 fucking minutes
