Is the developer slavic? A world of famine and horror that the protagonist escapes in farm-based exile and a week after the game starts his wife dies feels kind of slavic. Don't know why.
First, the bad.
The developer should get a native English speaker and refine the writing. It's functional, but it's also English Second Language central (well, not that I'm a native anglo either) but the details of how the dialogue feels and flows, or even punctuation, are kind of distracting. Get a pass to make it sound like proper English.
The mediocre.
The art style is great and detailed: the H-scenes are.... short. It's a difficult balance between titillation and gameplay, and this one favours gameplay: let's be blunt, having a game routine that is five-ten minutes of FARM PLANNING that requires some basic effort to get 10+ seconds of incredibly well detailed plowing runs counter to the essence of the lewd game. A bit more dialogue, a bit more charm. Lewd dialogue is hard to write well, I know, but such great spritework almost needs it.
The good
Game's fun, Eurogame/Harvest Moon thingie that is nonetheless fun. Graphics are great, character models have ... character (the Sergeant looks like someone that went through the grinder, the merc looks like a gypsy, the wife looks indeed like an old lady not devoid of charm).
There's some solid foundations here, but against myself I have to say the game is better than the porn. Despite the porn being of incredibly high quality!
