Not much to tell this time — I’m currently working on the bear fight. As usual, I thought I’d be able to finish it quickly, but the hair on the bear keeps causing Daz to crash over and over, turning what should’ve been a one-week job into two or three. It’s pretty frustrating, since this is still a sex game, and this part of the story really shouldn’t be taking this long.

Anyway, I’m going to take this chance to get rid of the furry animals in this update. In the next one, there’ll only be solo scenes with the girls. That means more sexual content for version 0.4 — and it should take less time to make.

By the way, I’ll make Darunee without pubic hair, and Peach will only have a small red tuft XD.

There will be repeatable events, and you’ll be able to choose whether you want to see them or not. I know some people — maybe some girls — might not be interested, but even though the game will have three different endings, the protagonist will have sex with all of them. Still, I’ll make it possible to skip certain content in the future if you prefer.

Unfortunately, I have to dedicate too much time to the renders, and that takes away the time I need for other aspects of the game.

But the important thing is that you never lose quality and that you're consistent, or at least that you never lose track of your progress. It's great news that there will soon be repeatable sex on that island. Will it be similar to the concept in Desert Stalker? Based on that, it would be interesting, in addition to being able to repeat scenes on the map, to unlock sexual interactions in some kind of harem-like space, perhaps in a mini-village that you develop where you can interact. Having a button during the repeatable scenes to change the angle of the sex scene would also add another level of quality. What you mentioned about pubic hair seems sensible to me.

I’m currently on the last scene with Xena, since my intention is to release the update before Christmas. I honestly don’t have any free time. When I get home from work, I go straight into working on the game. I’m very motivated and full of ideas.


As for how the repeatable scenes will be… my idea with the sandbox mode was not to have people searching for content and doing chores for days just to meet some fictional score that adds fake length to the game and rewards the player with four renders of a pair of tits and a pussy being fucked. I want to create a story where, whenever possible, the protagonist has an actual relationship with the women. And the sandbox is simply so that, for example, in a moment of free time, you can go take a bath and choose to do naughty things with one (or several) of the girls, or go to your cabin at night and give some love to one of them until you get bored.


I don’t really know the game Desert Stalker; I’ve honestly played very few adult games. Probably the most typical ones: Summertime Saga, Being a Dik, Milfy City, and not much else. Ever since I decided to make visual novels myself, I don’t have time for anything else — I just get home from work and start making scenes while watching videos in the background


About the mini-village: since the beginning of the game I’ve been working on an area on another part of the island where each girl would have a room the MC can visit. But obviously that’s still far off. And honestly it’s better this way, because even though I intend to add harem scenes, right now my PC just can’t handle it. That’s why this update is taking so long.


You’ll notice that inside the cabin (which I dedicated quite a lot of time to, since I wanted to make scenes there in later updates) the render quality drops a lot. Render times vary like crazy depending on the lighting and the number of objects and characters in the scene. In fact, I barely render with the 1080 anymore, because most scenes go way over the VRAM and I end up rendering with the CPU (which sucks).


Well, it seems like I’m whining here, but I’m just explaining it so you understand why an update that could take less than two months ends up taking six…


And about the dynamic scenes where you choose the position… totally! That’s one of the things I want to do. I even thought about making a scene where the protagonist gives a girl a massage, and depending on where you touch, something different happens.


In any case, like I said, after this update I’ll focus on scenes of the MC with one girl at a time, so I can release scenes faster while I save up for a new, more powerful PC (although RAM and GPU prices are rising in a scary way…).


The summary is that to keep people happy I need to make faster updates, and for varied content with groups of girls and more options, I need a beast that can render quickly and not lag when I’m building scenes. So I’m going to make individual scenes and avoid grouping the girls until I can get a powerful PC.
