I think you have to go into your hut and then at top near Time/Weeekday you will see an arrow for time forwardExactly, the only arrows I see are for moving around

this is literally where the free roam started for me, there's no way to get into the hut, and the map icon doesn't have anything other than the yellow pins to move locations.
