RPGM - Completed - Battle Armor Sorgante [v1.09] [GapTax]

    Decent overall but lacking content.
I liked the previous combat armor games better if not for the engine and generic RPGM combat.

Real Time "Shoot'em up" combat is better than the previous ones with generic combat but the H content is lacking unfortunately.

It's fairly short so there's that.

I believe that the opinion will be quite objective. I liked the plot, this is already 50% of a good game (I really like Ntr). Good, high-quality functionality. Beautiful CG, the main character is very thicc. You don’t have to wander around a giant map, everything is convenient.

ok how is this game considered good is beyond me. i get it, the NTR part is quite unique, never before explored in any other game.. but that's it, despite being explored here, it's done terribly. full of bugs, and boring repetitive gameplay/sexual scenes. with gallery unlocks it's utter waste of time, 100% unfappable and very boring to play.

so first of all, first interrogation scene she talks about how she was harassed at last patrol... i didnt even do that patrol before so already bug in first scene... nice. then even the english is ass, a lot of the usual translation errors about changed pronouns and I/he/she and it gets confusing here since text is important unlike in most other games where you only need to know the ballpark what to do. here the text makes a lot of it sexual.

then second interrogation scene still talking about last patrol harassment, and i i still didn't do that patrol mission.. how bad is the game when first 2 sex scens are already bugged.

then SUDDENLY SHE GAVE A BLOWJOB IN HIS OFFICE WHAT!?! how bad is this game. either the corruption is handled awfully or it's just bugged. the premise is that she has to work with the colonel so her husband gets cleared... it's not that strong blackmail since she knows he should be innocent anyway, it's just the investigation is underway but the colonel can speed up the process... and she is already sucking dick lol what a terrible corruption game. (or translation error)

then during missions you see in video how she is being molested, but on your end it's blurred or sometimes the video cuts off and there is only voice... it's a very interesting concept, it was intrigued at first... watching back the scene from the perspective of the wife from gallery is a bit annoying but still fine... then second "communication mischief" mission where she is molested during your battle, he cums on her shirt... funnily enough, that didn't register in the gallery so you cannot watch it... how bad is this game holy.... how is this completed LOL. you can watch the original from your perspective, but the wife perspective didn't unlock.

maybe it unlocks in next battle/groping. nope. it didnt. nor the next. so i unlocked all scenes to see it. watched all scenes. all kinda underwhelming. all 3 routes are extremely boring, the only interesting is the colonel but that's bugged and corruption is done all-over-the-place. and very badly as well, just breast grope for many times then suddenly blowjob then again lots and lots of breast grope.. it just doesn't make sense. whole game is terrible.

i was considering giving it 2/5 or 3/5 since the unique NTR premise, but i dont recommend this game to anyone. english has too many mistakes for this kind of game, only colonel route is interesting and even that is full of bugs and gameplay is nonexistent. it's just event hunting. i dont recommend this game to anyone, i have no idea what other reviewers were smoking, i think there was a proper NTR game so long ago that they just automatically liked it. this game is an instadelete game.

There's a lot of enjoyable NTR themed, erotic corruption in this game. I enjoy the art. The scenes are good and don't run too long. (Clearly the scenes were designed to be replayed for repeat use.) The FMC has my favorite body type, which would be enough on its own for 2 to 3 stars.

What holds this back is the monotony of the mech battles and the limited impact the player character has beyond choosing an ending 1/3 of the way through the game. Unlike its predecessor, Raiohgar, there's not much connection between progression of FMC's corruption and your battles. I enjoy the progression and pace of corruption in this game, but that only plays out while the MMC remains oblivious. If the MMC, who has zero dialog, doesn't know and can't interfere with what's going on, I'd rather just play as the FMC either pursuing or attempting to escape her own corruption.

It's still a good NTR game. It's just that the game is frustratingly close to being a GREAT game.

RaiOhGar (the previous work from GapTax) was great. Thus, I came into this game thinking that they'd either expand upon previous concepts, or at the very least, keep them.

Instead, I come into Battle Armor Sorgante to find they've actually cut ideas and systems from RaiOhGar, and changed some.

First off, let's get both art and sound out of the way. Sound in this game is made by Shade (and if you don't know him you're really missing out) so that's that; it's really good. For the art, GapTax hasn't reused anything from past success RaiOhGar, and while there are several variations/reused CGs within their own routes as the game goes on, there are none that cross routes. That aside, the art itself is really good too, so both of these are solid points for Sorgante.

The translation itself is not great, but it is good. There is only one box that wasn't translated in the entire game, but there are also several other boxes that have pronoun errors and other minor issues, which leads me to believe this is sort of a heavily edited MTL; or, at least, the human equivalent, which might be a fan translating this with heavy help from google translate or similar. It's still a good translation, but it falls short at times.

Lastly then, we come to the gameplay itself. The combat is boring, but it's fast and is skippable past the first route completion, so let's not dwell on that too much.

When it comes to the corruption of the heroine and how to achieve HCGs though, Sorgante felt really flat for me. In RaiOhGar, you could alter whether you're playing with Male MC or FeMC, which meant you could both only catch glimpses of what was happening, as well as actually be in the shoes of the FeMC and accompany her through the process of corruption, making the HCGs feel more "attuned" to the story. In Sorgante, you simply walk around the map and you can't even really interact with the FeMC much; there's very few scenes where you hear sounds, see her back or her face at best, but most of the time they're fucking behind 5 layers of steel reinforced concrete walls and the Male MC is entirely oblivious; upon entering the room, the HCG scene is activated in the recollection room. Not only that, but when I tried playing without looking at the recollection room, most of the actual fun in the game came from looking at the personal info tab of the menu, instead of anything in the game itself. I don't like having to depend on a recollection room to get HCGs as I feel that makes the HCG "disconnected" from the game in a way and ruins gameflow, so this was a sore miss for me.

Since you can't control FeMC and the Male MC is also entirely oblivious, corruption also feels a bit weird. FeMC will attempt to pretend everything is fine, so you can go from her unwillingly sucking a guy off in the operation camera to complete corruption love declarations from one mission to another. Not only that, but the complete corruption also happens at the very end of any of the routes, which feels a bit annoying.

Furthermore, the map is large, but unlike RaiOhGar there are no random events with random people that happen as "corruption" increases; it's the guys in the route and that's it. This makes the map feel rather devoid of life and entirely useless as you walk around to one of the 3 areas to unlock your HCG in the recollection room and then back into the military base to do the boring combat and then repeat. This, paired with the fact the combat itself is a bit boring, makes for the game to be mindnumbingly bad if you're not stopping to read the HCGs as you unlock them.

Compounding on this, there's a distinct lack of variance in the H content (it's mostly vaginal sex with some cosplay sex in every route); the heroine has a "Body Development" sex stat in her personal info but in no route does Mouth go over 50%, for example. It's essentially worthless. It's just fluff text. This also compounds into the ending, where sometimes it feels as if the MC should have noticed or realized or broken up or something, but nothing really happens. It's just... there.

That aside, the change in the way to view the HCGs definitely does play more heavily into the NTR aspect of the game, so it might be a positive change to some; NTR-wise this game feels quite a lot better than RaiOhGar, perhaps precisely because of all these changes, but it does feel a bit worse as a 'corruption' game, which is what I prefer.

I love GapTax games, and this one is probably their best one jet. Amazing CG, very good story, but not as sandboxy as the last one. Also great translation.

Also its a NTR game so expect NTR. (there is no good ending)

i'm all hyped up for the next release.

I grew pretty frustrated in my first playthrough, not realizing that progressing one route locks you from the others. It wasn't ever explained, and I ended up wasting a lot of time trying to find things.
That, however, is my only real complaint. Everything is done pretty well, and with three distinct routes to go down, there's a lot to see. Lots of good, hand drawn art, and the world is appropriately sized. Sure, the tank minigame is a bit of a waste of time, but it's not difficult and breaks up the walking.
A solid 4/5. Some things could be improved, but for NTR fans, it'll scratch an itch, if not several.

    happybrother

It has great CGs and okeyish scenes,
5 star art, but 2-3 star gameplay, 1 star for cuckold.
The most enjoyable way to play is ... to unlock the gallery and see the scenes.
    Gameplay is boring and repeatable.

But it's different than most such games in many ways:
you don't play the woman or the male rapist,
you play the cuckolded husband that knows nothing till "the end".
They got involved into a spy thing in a military base they both serve and the woman gets blackmailed.

Gameplaywise you battle mechs and tanks using mouse (one hand - deliberately done that way), as sometimes Wife gets molested throuhg the radio (she's your handler).

You unlock "scenes" by going in the correct area, but you DON"T VIEW THEM AT ALL. You can only view those from the Gallery. You only get the info (scene unlocked or somethign)

    Gallery is greatly done btw.
You unlock it right after the prologue (you click on the Wending Machine in the base).
You can click and unlock all scenes from the start. And I suggest doing so.

Scenes are voiced and way better than normal ripped CGs (which doesn't happen always for such games).

    English translation is good.

I gave only 3 stars as the boring Mech gameplay should be skippable and the only real reason to play the game normally is to view wife's Personal Info and see her degeneration progress / corruption.
But often you don't understand why: she wears certain clothes or when seeing her thoughts during the deed.
    explaination:
Only by viewing the scene from the gallery you know that she, for example, only lays there in bed with the teenager in that scene 3 while your MC has a meal with boy's bodyguard.

The game is amazing the hidden NTR is amazing and the small glimpse you get of it is amazing, the story is simple to follow and the gameplay is fine for what it’s trying to do, the only complaint is it’s to short and when that is the only complaint you can make, I think that’s is a great game, but it’s mostly for people that love NTR.

Reviewing this for the NTR lovers. If you don't like NTR, stay clear from this title.

Battle Armor Sorgante is a sequel of sorts to RaiOhGar, but with different characters and a new heroine who gets corrupted. You play as a hot shot mecha pilot, going out on missions and vanquishing evil or whatever, while your wife has all the fun with one of three antagonists.

Similarly to something like Summer Memories, the vast majority of the sex scenes are going to be viewable only through the memories room, as our protagonist remains hopelessly unaware of his wife's debauchery until the end of the game.

That doesn't mean the game proper isn't without it's sexy content, however. We get to see the idiot husband's perspective, including hearing and watching your wife get violated over comms, as she's your mission operator while you're in the field.

Easy 5*. This game has tons of sexy content, a decent story, and features fantastic corruption buildup that we get to see thrice

Very surprised how much I liked this game. What a banger!
On the first glance the art is nothing special. The world feels pretty empty and pointless The characters are overused stereotypes. But! Everything blends together perfectly into one of the most solid NTR I've played in a good while.
Battle Armor Sorgante has a clear goal from end to finish and and delivers everything you'd expect from it. It's great not because of how original and groundbreaking it is. It's more of a comfort food type enjoyment.

honestly one of the best ntr games i've played. way too hot!!!
    - wifey is hot and her slutty corruption is just amazing to see over each mission
    multiple routes
    - side character gets a hot side thing via rental store
    - amazing recollection room where it's smooth and allows to to escape scenes quit using shift or x, also great travel teleporters, cg previews, all organized
    - solid game ui/design

i only wish there was a gallery for the corruption stats over time. I have to save until i run out to experience it again..

Pretty good game would give it 5 stars but a few bugs/choices make it a 4 star.

The good: Multiple routes which is fun, gameplay interwoven with scenes which is cool. It's nothing special but pretty cool none the less. Extensive gallery even for the interwoven scenes where you can turn the blur/monitor effects off.

The somewhat bad: Personally i don't like it where the main protagonist is absolutely oblivious to everything, and that every scene does play it out in the world but you never get to see or interact with it. You just find the area unlock a scene and watch it in the gallery which is a real shame. Also i had several uncaught exceptions where i had to close down the game and restart it.

Overall a good game but the execution of interweaving some of the events is just lacking. Along with the bugs, makes the game feel a bit rushed and unpolished.

Was waiting for the release of this for i think more than 2 years with bits of delay but im pretty sure it was worth it. Game has 3 branches with whole different scenerios and is the epitome of female protag NTR/corruption. Art style is pretty damn good and game is a sizeable chunk that is satisfying in both length and content.

GapTax once again shows that it’s the leading figure in “naïve NTR” genre and even the general NTR. Truly a good continuation of RaiOhGar, even if it does feel a bit smaller, I must say.

In the game you play strictly as the husband and wife’s scenes are viewable in the gallery as the days progress. This gives a more realistic point of view but at the same time while the Eleanor’s corruption when viewed is stellar, and she slowly adopts and slides into the slutty dimension. The MC feels a bit stuck in the mud. It would have been interesting if the MC at least started suspecting or noticing Eleanor’s change in behavior/clothes or stumbling on suspicions evidence like in RaiOhGar.

That said GT understood how hot live transmission feeds were from the previous game and he dutifully expands on it. The only problem is that I would love more of it. It a great contribution to the subgenre.

Eleanor is beautiful and the general art is great. Yet the map design feels a bit empty in comparison to the last game. There are certain parts of the main map that are barely if ever used..

The mech part of the game is mainly focused on the live comm from Eleanor and the battles are rather easy, but that is not really a problem now is it.

The writing of the scenes is really good, and the diversity of them is great. Three paths and in those path a multitude of locations, poses, uniforms.. excellent.

All in all, the game is great, but I can not stress that it feels like it should have a couple of expansions if possible.

While personally i do feel like this is more of a 4/5 game with certain elements missing, I honestly must give it a 5/5 for GapTax simply blows away other NTR game makers, let alone that he is essentially one of the few in the naïve NTR genre at all.

Really liked this one. Especially the commander route.

It improved on the previous game imo. You have mainly male protagonist view and they expanded on the harassment during missions (you see the female protagonist on screen while stuff "happens", screen goes offline and you hear only sounds etc)...

Nothing too long, but definitely enjoyable imo.

I'm gonna say right now, its incredible. Even if you HATE ntr, it's incredible.

    Pros:
-Multiple endings, but you don't feel cheated out of any of them if you choose a specific route. Once you "finish" a route, you can play a bit of "endgame" content before choosing to go back to the "branching choice".
-FMC is beyond hot. Her personality is professional/resistant, her body is amazing, so on.
-The corruption is great. It's evident that she's resistant to whichever route she's on, and you can even read her thoughts in the menu. Every day, her thoughts change, so you can slowly see her thoughts become more twisted and lewd. Plus, if you read sexual stats, you can see what she's wearing under her uniform. At first, it'll be basic underwear, but as it progresses it'll turn more depraved.
-It's a game where you pilot a mech, but GapTax understands that people are here for porn, so the combat is STUPIDLY easy so you can play with one hand. On that note, the game is extremely straightforward. During the day, you do a task, and during night you do a mech fight. Rinse and repeat until FMC is fully corrupted.
-The recollection room is one of the best in ANY game. Each "rival" has their own row, and standing next to each "cg bubble" shows a highlight of what the cg is. There are "teleport pads" to use to return to the middle of the CG room, if you don't want to run all the way back. There's a button to fully unlock every CG, but the game is so great that you don't want to.
-Translation is great, your immersion is never broken.

    Cons:
-You never play as the FMC, unlike other titles. So, you run around while scanning on the radar where the FMC is. You find her area, run to it, and then the CG is added. So, you won't get the typical "cg with text" until you visit the CG room, which can be a bit disorienting, but it can pay off well once you reach certain points. Plus, it does help with the immersion.
-The map feels small, and even wasted. I would love for more zones, but there are only 4. The base, the town, your neighborhood, and the "18+" zone, but each of these areas feel small and empty, with filler buildings.
-It would have been nice to see the FMC slip up a bit more here and there in front of the MC, but for the most part she stays very composed and withdrawn. So unless you're actively checking her thoughts and the CG room, the impact doesn't hit that hard. It just feels like "ah, she's doing this now i guess" at times.

Overall, an incredible game. You can't help but feel a bit bad for both the FMC and the MC, since they're both really good people but are torn apart due to the circumstances, but the FMC is so hot that you end up not caring too much. If this were the standard of Japanese corruption games, F95 would be feasting. Sadly, this is only an exception, but DAMN is it a great experience regardless.
