First time playing. Got to the Tuesday training session with Marcus and the practice match with Octave and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing now. Is there a fight scheduled and I can just kill time by training or visiting the girls until then?
yeah it's intended to be an "open sandbox" type thing, you can train up your moves by earning points sparring girls. There are a few scenes available by visiting octave and joy, each of which lead to other scenes to unlock. The first tournament match will kick off on friday morning IIRC. Chat with Marcus for access to the cheat-menu, you can kill time in maya's apartment by taking naps and sleeping (eventually book-reading will be available here)

Looks like I was right to come back here. It's nice to see it was updated again. :)
There aren't many sexfight games like Night Games was, so it's always nice to see you're making progress.

So based on feedback, I'm doing a bit of a refactor of the fight-system internals to clean things up a bit, and add/change the following:

* rework composure/stamina, giving all the girls about 10x what they currently start with.
* do a better job of "selling" composure-loss. I'm adding a slightly different code-path with different cut-scenes when one competitor loses composure to the other, in order to make it "feel" more like the fight just devolves into sex
* make it harder to get subs and pins, this is two-fold..
** Modify "struggle" so that its odds of success increase with consecutive uses
** require the top-position holder to call "adjust" 1d4 times before the pin or sub becomes available as an option.

I might make a "fight-system-only" release or two when I'm done just to let people experiment with the fight system as I iterate on it. Thanks again for your thoughtful advice, it's super helpful.

I've been going through the fight code, and it occurred to me that I've completely lost the plot on how much of it works, and given that I wrote the thing, that means literally no one on earth knows what it's doing, so I fleshed out the tool-tip that pops up when you select Maya's next move in combat. The tool-tip now breaks down the full bonus allotment for both fighters in the current position and with the hovered attack.

Now you can see Mayas starting proficiency with seduction is giving her a +2 to sneaky boob groping, vs holly's combined dex-based defense bonus and her judo proficiency in the current standing underhook position which adds up to +4. This ought to help you make more intelligent selections, both by showing you how the bonuses stack up and also by giving you a feel over time for what positions to strategically deny to the other women in order to nerf their advantages. It should also help you plan Maya's training regiment, since her proficiency gained in bouts will begin to appear as she fights more and more, and the points you spend on move upgrades will also be visible.

in the short-term it's also helping me re-balance things quite a bit

Now that pin's take 1d4 turns to achieve, I've added a "pin warning" indicator to the ui as well, which appears and begins blinking when a pin is possible/imminent from the current position. It looks like a pink map-pin

I understand that you're focusing on ironing out bugs at the moment (which is needed and thank you for listening to feedback so closely), do you have plans for what's being added next in terms of content?

Content-wise, I need to start fleshing out the "sandbox" activities that will enable maya to upgrade her base-stats, and impede her competitor's training progress

* Garden meditation for increasing wisdom and locating cooking ingredients
* Cooking for increasing str and potentially slowing down her opponents with delectable chow
* Reading for learning ward skills, recipes and increasing int
* Bathhouse for increasing charisma and having distracting scenes with the competitors

I also need to create Harry's shop, decide what kind of cheats he'll sell, and figure out how the quid-pro-quo dynamic is going to work, as well as extending the currently stubbed out --ahem-- anti demon training mechanics and scenes.

do you have an idea of when you expect to release the next playable version?

Just found this gem and man is it nice to find a rare quality sexfighting game. Very excited to see where this goes!

kinda. Since the work I did on the battle system a few months ago, I've also done a bunch of work on a re-occuring "after-party" event I've been planning for a long time, where the ladies mix and mingle with various VIP's, and Maya has the chance to do some "gambling" and meet up with some folks from the pre-tournament "old days". Over the past year and a half I have really struggled to find time to work on this project in earnest yall. It just doesn't prioritize well, and working on it really fucks up my brain chemistry. Not an apology per-se, just.. what's going on I guess.
