RPGM - Completed - Bawdy Traditions [v1.2.5] [Aedirn Studio]

First of all, before I write the rest of the review I must say two things. First: I don't like rpgm games. Second: I don't like NTR.

That being said this one (Version 0.6.9) was a great experience. I was surprised how much I liked it. I First downloaded it a long time ago, and left. Then I came back and I see a lot of improvements.

The graphics - they look really well, cant say much more, the art is pretty good. The scenes are Nice to look at and the gameplay part is Nice for eye.

I have not encountered any bug that prevented me from playing.

The story is better than most things I've encountered. Although at First I thought it is not my Type, then I realised that good writing makes it up completely.

I definitely recommend this one even for those who dont like NTR.

Perfect game in its tags, really good style of picture and animations. Its best game i have played for some period and it worth of playing) When it completed it would be fantastic and its already one of my favorite game. Devs you are amazing!

What you have is an RPG maker game with illusion visuals for the scenes. The epitome of generic. But the gameplay, what's that like? Well you just walk around a town looking for people to speak to or glowing circles, to gain 'corruption' in a nearly entirely linear fasion, so you can go to the river or whatever the fuck to end the day.

But its so fucking linear. All you do is walk around lost. Trying to find the one guy who does anything.
There's a sign post that tells you what to do. Like "go buy festival clothes". So I go to the shop. The shopkeeper says the same shit as on any other day.
"go to alexa so you can go to river". Who the fuck is alexa? Ah, an NPC I've never met before, hidden in a corner of the village, mentioned by no one. Go to her.
"go help a worker on the left rode with his son, who is in the bar, by grabbing an item". That one is very detailed. But only can be done after you do another quest for no apparent reason. And where's the toolbox? In the grocery shop. Where is that? Its the one with a bag and teapot on it. Called 'general goods', not grocery, but that's the grocery store. You go in, open a random box, get 'an item'. 'an item'. You get 'an item'. Its his item. Game doesn't say this. It says 'an item'.

So its got extremely generic art with a very bland girl, NTR where she just goes along with everything as if born with no backbone and a frustrating gameplay loop.
All I can really give it credit for is the male MC - he actually calls shit out sometimes. Occasionally. Ineffectually. But its a step up from complete obliviousness that plagues this genre.
A shame all the men but him in this game seem to be 7-9 foot tall adonises with dicks half the size of the chick so he can't compete.

Pretty good development so far (0.5.7). Good art and storyline. Not as fleshed out as say 'Mischief War', but a pretty good corruption NTR story with a husband who is a combination of inattentive and oblivious, with options to be supportive / non-interventional in his wife's NTR-exploration. Appreciate the choices at certain pathways. The mechanic of both alcohol and a ritual aphrodisiac fruit as tools to make MC lose inhibition and start her NTR pathway felt natural. The blackmail follow-up also helps to seal the corruption NTR descent -- you've already done X and I've got proof, why not do Y and hubby never finds out?

Pretty strong ahegao if you're into that. The eyes in particular are some interesting art -- can't say I've seen spiral line eyes used before, and the drunken / lust hazy eyes are pretty good too.

Constructive criticisms:

• Corruption occurs too fast, not a slow enough burn. You're going from faithful wife to "gee, I really wanted to suck those 2 big dicks at the river" within the first afternoon. Felt too much like 'Minako', where the MC goes from loyal wife of 5 years to "ooh, my husband told me to stay away from this guy because he's a lying psycho who gets women pregnant...but I'm feeling sort of sorry for him, so why don't I let him creampie me so he feels better?" her first night in the village. It seems the developer is using money issues as a potential pathway to explain corruption, but it isn't compelling or urgent enough. Maybe they could tweak the dialogue a bit to add to the urgency -- like the MC is expecting to be paid for the article once they're back home, but didn't realize hotel and clothing for the festival would be as expensive as it is and won't be getting reimbursed until afterwards, so Leyna helps to try to get money for these things now or else they can't stay. Would better help to sell the urgency for why she's willing to do some of the risky things she does in the pursuit of money so early on.
• After 0.5.2 I recommended more Alexa scenes: She's a cutie. Perhaps she could help to solve the slow burn corruption issue? Leyna is trying to stay pure, but Alexa's cheating ways are opening up Leyna's eyes to the thrill of NTR, as well as putting her in dangerous scenarios with horny guys where she feels too threatened to resist. Release 0.5.7 delivered exactly on that.
• It would be good to separate out what Johan sees from what Leyna sees. This would also entail creating some sort of recollection room to see events later. Some of the scenes in particular I'm thinking about would be...

Good game, simple story, systematic updates. Overall great game. I really enjoy that one, clever idea using an koikatsu as a graphics. I'll be looking forward but for now imo, one of the best games in this genre.

First must say I love this game. Really nice characters, the flow of the story is nice and the CG,s are really well made aswell as the animations.
Tho the pace of the corruption feels a bit to fast imo. It needs to be a bit slower and give it some more time before it can bear fruit. You just don't forget about your husband the second he is away and go for the first dick you see right of the bat. Ease into it, see a few dicks, touch em and then go for them.
Sad to see so little content, but understandable seeing it's only version 0,5. I can only assume the town will be more fleshed out and contain more goodies with time. Since I feel there need to be more stuff to do up to this point and not just add stuff to progress the story from here.
I really tho that the devs are here and are looking at the thread and have made adjustments along the way.

Overall an extremely nice game which hold great potentials if given more time, love and support and is definitely worth playing. And Ill be first in line to get my hands on the latest releases and hope more will join me on that.

The corruption is of course not hyper realistic, but that's not what i'm here for anyway.
The story is neither tedious nor rushed, and my biggest issue is that there isn't more content.
Feels like you can flesh out the world more, put in more little scenes around the town, but since this is only v0.5, that is understandable.
Can't wait for more and i will follow this for sure!

Instant corruption and stupid plot. Really you know right off the bat the festival is going to be an orgy. Anyone with a wife would instant leave.

Game like this by the time corruption 4 hit me.. I was like nope not for me. If you are going to have a corruption game it needs to be slow and unsuspecting but this is right in your face.

this is the first game in the NTR genre, from which you can get a lot of emotions and if you do not abandon the project, you can constantly add new and hot situations with scenes, using ideas from fans or from erotic stories, I hope the game will gain more content in the near future, I think you can subscribe to patreon if it speeds up development

While the writing mechanics (e.g., grammar spelling, etc.) are not the best, the characters are well motivated and felt realistic. I personally enjoyed the internal monologues, as they do a good job of describing the guilt/conflict/intention of the characters. Also, the writing is very well balanced - long enough to root the characters and context, but not so long that it gets boring. Also, great corruption scenarios that are well paced, although I felt the first BJ scene happened a little too quick.

While I personally very much liked the art style, I'm not sure it's for everyone. The female protagonist looks great!

There is nothing that stands out in the gameplay; it's a typical RPGmaker walking visual novel. This is a description, not a criticism - personally, I don't like grindy mechanics. It's pretty short in it's current state (V03.5) - it took me 30-minutes to finish. It's a somewhat slow-burn game, it hasn't gotten to anything too lewd yet.

Great little corruption/NTR game - this will definitely be on my watch list and deserves some love on Patreon.

The game is very erotic, this is not meet and fuck only... the character is in constant psychological evolution to expand his mind and then fuck. Waiting for the right time to fuck and play with the gamer's head gradually increasing your lust is what makes this game good. The art is good, the character is delicate and hot at the same time.

Love the game, love the premise and love the art. Really love the slow and steady pace of the wife's corruption, too many NTR games just make em have sex immediately. I want the build, see the dick a few times, then touch the dick then suck the dick. You don't just suck the dick immediately when you see it.

See a lot of people saying the husband needs to be more involved, I disagree personally as that specific route isn't my taste but I'll take whatever I get. Preferably though it would be nice to keep it up to options, have a route where he doesn't know and isn't involved and vice versa.

But in the end, like I said, I'll take what I get. Keep up the good work mate I'll be waiting anxiously for the next release.

it's going well and the devs are in the thread taking notes on what they should do and how to procede in the game so it stays relevant. So far i like it very much, maybe they should slow down the pace a little bit but other than that perfect game, nice models.

So far, the narrative is well above the average of other NTR content. Cuckolding \ NTR is more about netorase than netori or traditionally netorare.

great game, very simple, nice models, and i like that this is a friendly entry in the NTR genre-- by that i mean it's more of a swingers/cuck thing than cheating/non-consent which imo makes it a lot of fun. Look forward to more.

Very well done up until this point (0.3). There are some bugs (To be expected) and there's nothing stating there will be missed scenes if you don't do things in a specific order. However, all things considered, definitely very good.

Great job on this game dude. Hoping for the next updates, but keep the same road and we will be loving it, the wife is really beautifull and shy and the events are pretty interesting. My suggestion is to keep including more events as possible but even keeps her corruption slowly growing, thats what would keep the game better at every update.

Would love to see more animations but pretty good scenes as it is. Love the fact that the MC's husband is present for most scenes, where as most NTR games the guy is just clueless to the cheating
