I am not sure I'm getting it correct, but I think you are trying to use the patch meant for the main game in the mini game, is that it?
The mini game needs no incest patch, it is already incestual
Just download and play it

It's not mini it's micro > skip text

He delivered two updates, 600 images, plus a lot of text in two or three months
The trama is also very well written, it felt light and quick, and he took the time to flash out some context and Jenny and Bobby's relationship
You are missing a lot of what made this mini game a pleasant experience if you are meshing space

And we complain if it's slow, and we complain if it's fast
Cut the dev some slack

# Before rushing to smart ass shots, try to understand others' point of view. This is a visual novel, not a text novel... If I wanted depth in reading I'd grab a good book, any book would be more substancial. That's not the point here, just a bonus. This is meant to entertain so it needs to deliver a reasonable amount of gameplay, not text.

I never read all the lines of any game. If I find something interesting I slow it down and I read it all. If not, I skip it. I'm sure I'm not alone on this because when it's good it shows. Ren'Py has that built-in option for a reason...

It's not my intention to bash on SP. On the contrary, I believe in his work. The original BBS2 was awesome, this one not as much. I'm just giving some pointers about stuff that could be improved. This game can easily make it or derail...

(600 renders is very little. An animation of 6s alone takes 180)

I don't get why you bother to come to a forum to discuss the state of a game if you are not even going to read a few posts?
Just a few pages back and you would have been fine
The latest positive reviews were clearly for the new stuff, the nightshift story with Jenny
The author has said many times that he is aware of the problems with the main game and that he intends to fix them after he is done with this side story, because it is a commission and he has to deliver

I know this is not a 1 star game, even with the glaring issues but you just want to sound smart, I guess twitter must be your only hobby and I bet you are not very popular there

The incest is so glaring in this game that even with out the patch we can still feel they are related
Are you joking? It is a incest game, watered down because of patreon
You can not order a pizza with four different types of cheese in it and complain later that you only wanted to taste the mozzarella but you couldn't

I've been quite sick for the past week or so. Again, yes.
As I was talking earlier to our benefactor, Niko... I've been getting sick a lot lately. And that has certainly taken its tow on our schedule.
But fear not, work is being done and Part 3 of our mini story w/ Jenny is shaping out well.

Here's what we've been cooking. Part 3 of Bobby's Nightshift is going to contain:

. a new option event for the shower scene in the coffeeshop (18+)
. a new option event for the clubhouse scene (18+)
. slight fixes (improvements) to the past animations
. small cameos - featuring Lucy, Lisa and Mrs Ann
. twice a dozen filling images meant to embellish a few scenes from Parts 1 and 2
. an epic conclusion to our mini story (18+)

I'm still hoping to release this on Christmas.
But then again, I ain't cutting it short just for the sake of having it released sooner than later.
It'll be here when it's ready.

I'll be seeing you guys soon.
Wish me well, daddy's gotta work.

Como estaba hablando antes con nuestro benefactor, Niko... Últimamente me he estado enfermando mucho. Y eso, sin duda, se ha llevado su relevo en nuestro calendario.
Pero no temas, se está trabajando y la Parte 3 de nuestra mini historia con Jenny se está perfilando bien.

Esto es lo que hemos estado cocinando. La parte 3 de Bobby's Nightshift va a contener:

. Un nuevo evento de opción para la escena de la ducha en la cafetería (18+)
. Un nuevo evento de opción para la escena de la casa club (18+)
. Ligeras correcciones (mejoras) a las animaciones anteriores
. pequeños cameos: con Lucy, Lisa y la Sra. Ann
. dos veces una docena de imágenes de relleno destinadas a embellecer algunas escenas de las Partes 1 y 2
. Una conclusión épica para nuestra mini historia (18+)

Todavía tengo la esperanza de lanzar esto en Navidad.
Pero, de nuevo, no lo estoy acortando solo por el hecho de que se publique más temprano que tarde.

Guys, I am still very much sick.
I got worse, turns out.
I'll make a post on Patreon shortly, commenting on it.
I have been unable to work for the past two weeks. Christmas eve was the worst.

I'm here though. And I'll get back to it as soon as I'm able.

Good news is.. you can have both, Navi.
From all the models used on BBS2, Ann was the one I barely touched.
You find her different, it's on you. She's not.
And thus, she is (again) going to look pretty much the way she did on RAinces' version.

Meh, 60% of restaurants fail in the first year, and 80% fail in the first 5 years and they don't even have to worry about being creative... I'd estimate 99.9% percent of games fail, you don't need bullshit like a "Bobby curse" to explain why!
Starting a game is easy, I'd wager every single one of us can think of "Games" we'd like to make. but moving past these initial idea's into something coherent and maintaining that momentum is a completely different matter.
