biggest problem with Operation lovecraft Fallen Dolls is you cant sue him for it.We life in society, sadly. Just look on Operation lovecraft Fallen Dolls or what is this scam. 15K patreons with pretty much agressive patron tiers for nothing. But hey i can't blame devs, because people who give him money are part of problem.
About delays. I will be glad if this delays was because fixing stuff etc. i guess it will be broken as fuck still.
i remember some big guy wanted to invest a lot of money in it and bragging, but they denied it.

Same with star-citizen over 500 million more then 10 year in the make and still no game that is nearly done

Remember when everyone thought we were getting BTQ/Lara style scences in this game? You'd be lucky to get 10 second loops at this rate given the admitted game file size and that thumbnail he posted of all the scenes/poses. I personally enjoy the fact he duped his subs for nearly 2 years with endless previews. 9/10 of them wont even be in the "first" release but down the line...
I've had a bit of a brain barf just processing all of this back and forth here and from the blogspot (pure cancer there)...
Lemme know if i'm understanding this situation correctly, or if i'm just being autistic... or both.
Cuz I'm genuinely wondering wtf is going on, and here's what I see...
Do we know any other projects beyond him rehashing his Breaking the Quiet series that he's actually done lately? That hasn't already been ripped and plastered all over porn sites everywhere, thus nullifying the need to subscribe to him?
Not a joke question or even a jab at Animo, I'm asking genuinely, because Animo's secrecy, the way he tries to word something as done and basically lies to his supporters faces, and the constant underdelivery, as if it was his personal policy...
It genuinely feels like he literally has nothing that'd give people a reason to subscribe and now he's gonna use BoTS as his ticket, ala Bioasshard, to string along people as his sole project for the next few years, and he seems all too willing to lie to his supporters faces about release dates and qualities on a repeated basis.
Like trying to turn crowdfunded porn game into a meta-ish live service game where you pay to play and beta-test a broken shoddy mess, then get gaslit into thinking "oh we hear the criticisms you raise and we'll get on it right away, but please continue to subscribe and pay us while we fix the issue we made ".
Since I brought up Bioasshard, I just wanna note that: I can at least respect VersusX (the closest comparison i can imagine) for putting their cards on the table early on and saying that Arena was more of a testbed for mechanics, an alpha basically, for actual levels they wanted to do in the "real" Bioasshard game. While their updates haven't been great, and the game not all that polished, at least it seems more good faith to supporters than whatever Animo's selling. (that and it didn't seem like their SOLE project going on, Versus X does comics and other stuff iirc all while making Bioasshard)

Its really quite interesting how this thread has slowly morfed into an Animo hate thread. He's created a Metallica like fanbase. Where most people think his work is okay, but his most loyal fans deeply loathe him.
Personally, I can't really be mad at him. If you can find people gullible enough to keep falling for your bullshit, then they kinda have it coming imo. Sex sells, and you can make a good profit just by postponing the climax. The only problem is that if you do that it doesn't matter how good your product is. People will hate you for it. Honestly, like I said before. If you critizise him but you are one of the people slowly turning him into a millionaire, maybe you're part of the problem.
Regardless, it doesn't matter how good or bad the game will turn out to be. People will string him up for the tiniest problems they have with it. It will never be good enough.

I feel like all this hate would've been avoided if he just said "I'll let you guys know when it's ready" while posting weekly updates. If something ain't ready don't give it a release date.

Animo has release day tourettes.
Still, I honestly believe he thinks he can fulfill those deadlines, but developing a sandbox ue5 game gets out of hand quick, and suddenly you're buried in shit to fix and change.
Just a little less optimistic deadlines would help us all.
Its easy to make something that is too ambitious. I think he should've stuck with just making playable sex scenes. As that is what most people are interested in anyway. Then, if it does well. You can expand your next project, or the next one after that.
Making a fully playable survival game with interactive sex scenes is just too much for such a small team. Stick to what you know you can do, and expand when you can.

Well,that would be a generic porn game,like Home together.Yes it looks good,nice anims ye,but man,there used to be plot in porn.It is much more interesting with story and cutscenes than just go there fuck that
"Plot" in porn is truly overrated if its just a watered down story that's been told a thousand times before. BiTS is just Tomb Raider with sex. Nothing much original about it. I'd rather have a creator commit to something at least a bit more original. Unless its fully commited to being a parody, and it uses characters/locations/canon from excisting properties.
But that wasn't really even my point. Having a polt is fine if you can afford it. But I don't think it the pronographic nature of the product should suffer under the promise of a plot.

I agree,it shouldn't, but for people like me,even the most detaliated,beautiful natural sex sequences in 500 poses,will mean nothing if it's just a scene viewer.If not a plot, than at least a nice setting which animo is going towards.Tombs,secrets,bunkers,everything.The point is, sex is much more enjoyable when you have at least to do something for it.Porn in porn games, in my opinion should feel like a fair reward,that's why I don't like and encourage games that are basically scene viewers.
