Now I know it's crazy for some of y'all to wrap your head around it but this game has so much more quality compared to literally every other 3d game on the platform. Just wait on it. (Wait on it!)
The problem is not the quality, it's shaping up to be a good fun game, nice puzzles, cool exploration and map design, gorgeous graphics. But it's shaping up to be a bad porn game with each content being more and more focused on anything but what made Animopron a name: sex animations.

When someone talks about Animopron, I remember the fucking awesome raw hardcore animations with close up of awesomely detailed penetrations and genitals, not Tomb Raider with a few shabby looping sex scenes around. If the shift in type of content is on purpose, then that's a fucking shame, 'cause very few things come close to the marvel that is Breaking the Quiet, but 3rd person shooters and exploration games, there's a load of them.

This thread is reminding me a lot of the Cyberpunk release debacle.

1) Dev overpromises on a release date that they don't have the ability to deliver

2) Fanbase gets upset because of the dev's mistake above, and demands the update

3) Dev caves into the pressure instead of delaying as necessary, and releases underbaked product

4) Fanbase gets upset because of the underbaked product

Whilst there's *some* element of blame on both sides, I do reckon it lies mostly with Animo for the bizarre overpromising of release dates and reluctance to learn from that mistake. Plus, I assume his paying supporters aren't quite as vitriolic about timing as certain members of the f95 thread are lol!

Memes aside, I actually appreciate him adding details such as shooting, fire animations, and even tiny details in the story's cutscene (if you skip the first beach and head to the temple, after you exit the temple you get a different dialogue for when you discover raptors). Details like this, in my opinion, actually serve a purpose in world immersion. It makes the game feel more alive.
