The creator has said it's porn, but it's meant to be more of a long, drawn out love story...between a woman and horse cock lol.
Haha I'll definitely check it out. Though I should specify that when I say good writing, it doesn't have to be novel length or anything. Even tiny little snippets of background or character can completely define a game's tone or experience, and I would actually extend "writing" to include how a world is setup and portrayed nonverbally.
Story and themes in games are also conveyed through environment and gameplay, so stuff like having a penis statue activated door is actually part of the porny writing. Not that you couldn't portray a situation like that or have a character like this. Just adding a touch of realism could go a long way. I dunno just have her comment about how sex seemed to be important or sacred to these ancient people and frame her behavior as being intrigued by this because she's a passionate archaeologist and start exploring her own sexuality as she tries to get in touch with this lost culture. Y'know, instead of a just "omg that stone penis statue is sooo big." You could add realism to her proportions and clothing pretty quick by just having her act confident and mention she used to sunbathe on nudist beaches and isn't shy, so she might as well dress light seeing as it's a sweltering tropical island and nobody's around. For her body just complain about back pain once and wryly curse her genetics. Just little things like that. Idk I'm just spitballing random dogshit at this point.
I guess fundamentally my issue is just a personal one in that I find that classic western porn writing to be unfunny, unsexy, and irritating. Not just the writing but the way it's typically acted too: that smugly fourth-wall breaking, smarmy drawl with obviously fake and exaggerated emotions. Something that actively takes me out of the experience to the point where I find myself wishing that if they didn't want to put effort in they'd just written nothing at all. I'm not saying this to knock this dev who's put a lot of work in, but I think this game would be a superior experience if it was entirely wordless. If they just showed the character's actions and expressions at least you could fill in their thoughts with what satisfies you.
But like I said, if they actively have a fetish for dumb porny bullshit and actually really enjoy it, and it's not a product of laziness, then more power to em. Everyone has different tastes.

For now it’s Dino‘s, statues and objects. Horse and Minotauer got teased. Don’t know if K9s will ever happen, Animo is not known for doggie content (AFAIK).

While I can’t name specific examples due to f95zone rules, it’s worth noting that, unlike those projects, Animo Pron shares its game for free on the forum, engages in meaningful discussions, and operates with a single, transparent subscription model with very playable FEATURES!
So, these comments are therefore very inappropriate. If you don’t like it, you can cancel your subscription, but the developers still provide the game for free w/o any differences. So, stop bullying and abusing the developers’ good intentions. This isn’t just a typical 2D or Ren'Py-style game; it’s one of the most playable 3D games with great graphics, diverse h-scenes, smooth animations, realistic physics, and an engaging story!
