Kinda ironic that happened a small drama in the bb server when someone mentioned that parallels of bb's development going the same way as yandere simulator's.
(both devs having tons of money income in patreon, but yet a small team with slow game development progress)
and some people in that server got mad about it for some reason (no clue if it is or it isn't a simp move from the fandom, it's just someone's opinion)

Reviving /Suppoting in a community/popularity way? it's kinda a hard to tell, maybe inside the server, but outside, there's not much stuff going on (plus mod catalogue are not updated since November 2024), modders are not having a good time, i'm surprised if the vanilla/base game people are still interested even when they're making other stuff (3d models, drawing memes, furrycons and so on).
In terms of money, 10.3k per month, even with the slow updates and the drama stuff, people are supporting it.
I dunno if the fandom are kinda simps (no matter what the dev and his team does, they'll be supported with tons of money per month), or just people full of hope of the game being finished (because it's been 3-4 years (in March 2021 - the first versions), and the game gets ton of redraw/re-artstyle updates)

What's worse is that the dev has a serious case of grown ass child behaviour and every time they try to pull something out of their ass they get called out and start pulling a victim card. I don't mind the slow progress but i despise the slime moves that they do almost all the time.
- Moved the mods folder with no mention? Deal with it. Gave an option to change it back months later after to gain the good guy points
- Changed the UI three times because someone asked for a mouse support with no mention? Deal with it
- Nuked the gay content? Deal with it, i did state that during that one announcement where i wrote it with the most blurriest of terms and secretly renamed the acts folders so that you wouldn't notice
- Broke basically every mod? Deal with it, make mods differently now, i don't wanna tell anyone that i changed the way the game scans folders and now every mod prior to v50 won't auto install
- Broke toy support multiple times? Deal with it
Indie devs as a species have zero charm nowadays, all of this could have been prevented with "Sorry gents i did an oopsie with X and Y".
I wouldn't be surprised if the furry desktop game is actually his too.
The kitt furry game is weird too, previously it was a HOWL Collar voice changer project [they forgot to change the text in the team section] it supposed to have a kickstarter in January 2025, but randomly they changed artists, change the company, changed the patreon, kept the designs and now its a furry desktop game
