Guess what ? Bullshit. He said that to make people give him more money but people won't because he is a liar. Dude literally put a patreon sub for 720CA$ per month. What do you expect from someone like him ?What about all the hype of him quitting his day job to do games full time
I hope he has a savings account to live off...What about all the hype of him quitting his day job to do games full time
he's definitely a subscription farmermaybe he's a dairy farmer...
Did you read the changelog??A short question: is the current version of this game kind of a remake/reboot?
BILH Version 2.0 is a completely new game, with a completely new story. Therefore, there are no possible saves that will work with this version of the game, so a new game is required of course.
Release 1 introduces you, the player, to the new world of BILH. Ntr can now fully be disabled from the start of this new game version.
In release 1 there are about 220 renders, and 2 animations, 1 big 1 small. It is only an intro to the new world, and the next release will also focus on the new characters and new plot.
Problem is, it wouldn't be the same. I doubt the renders would be nearly as good and none of us know the direction the story would take.Someone need to rescue this like some dude did for " My Wife's a Star "
Yeah, I feel rebooting games other devs let die is a bad idea.Problem is, it wouldn't be the same. I doubt the renders would be nearly as good and none of us know the direction the story would take.
who saved my wife's a star. it's still the same personSomeone need to rescue this like some dude did for " My Wife's a Star "
don't think so... Some mod dude is putting together a version from the beginning.who saved my wife's a star. it's still the same person

As far as I'm aware, the original dev is still working on the game, but another person is doing what I do for Long Story Short by making a Ren'Py port.don't think so... Some mod dude is putting together a version from the beginning.
I didn't realize the dev wasn't still working on the game. Last I knew, the updates are just very infrequent (like once a year).I'm all for a Ren'Py port of My Wife's a Star, which is one of my least favorite Unity implementations ever, but of course it's eventually going to run aground once he reaches the end of the source content. Ports are kind of a waste of time if the dev doesn't keep working on the game. It works for Long Story Short because the original dev's still plugging along. It would be pointless here.
Sorry, I should've been more precise: as far as I know, he is still working on it...but he's getting slower and slower, which is rarely a cause for optimism. Especially in a game with multiple exclusionary branches. My experience is that games that follow this particular pattern rarely get finished.I didn't realize the dev wasn't still working on the game.
